IMO Car Wash

Usually use this car wash every time I wash my car but won’t be coming again.I have noticed today that my car hasn’t been washed thoroughly as there is still dirt on it, in addition to this the attendant started shouting in a negative tone at me because my electronic brake had switched on which I didn’t realise, there was no need to shout (I know he may have been having a bad day but it is unacceptable to raise your voice at customers) so unfortunately you won’t be receiving my custom again.

IMO Durham Tesco. I go to this car wash roughly every two weeks. Last week I did some off the road driving, so the inside got really dusty, so I booked in for a Mini Valet today Thursday 23/06/22 at 10am. The Mini Valet covers : Express Valet plus: Wheels and alloys detailed, Windows polished, Dashboard cleaned, Plastics cleaned, Vinyl trims cleaned and an Air Freshener. I left the car with them for an hour, when I got back, I noticed that the dashboard which was the most dusty part had only been swiped over with what looked like a hand, the console was still dusty and so were the doors. When I informed the young man that the dashboard wasn't done properly; he brought out this dirty looking cloth ( it says dashboard cleaned on the Mini Valet) and dusted it down the drivers side; I also pointed out that it didn't look like the door had been done either so he did that. After dusting it down he went to the passenger side door and did that and promptly walked off. I went after him to tell him he hadn't done the passenger side dashboard, at which time he told me to stop shouting. I wasn't shouting, but talking over the car wash where he had gone back too, also I had the right to be annoyed as he hadn't done the job properly, which I told him so. He then turned and told me I was banned from the car wash!!! After getting home, I also noticed the boot hadn't been vacuum either or the windows cleaned, as there was still a mark where I killed a bug. Cost me £32.

Took my car along for a pro shield wash. The gentleman working on the car wash was great. Really professional and had all the timings down to a fine art. Paid cash on the day and the car came out looking sparkling! The underside and rims looked great too. And no damage to the paint. It's worth paying a bit extra for a professional job that doesn't scratch anything.

The spinning bristles that clean your wheels don't work on the left hand side and haven't for 2 months. Left my wheels looking dirty, I expect more from their top wash and feel ripped off to be honest

My wife used the Colby Newham car wash and it did a good job of her Corsa . I used this one in Durham and was disappointed I went for the £6 wash .I had to wash my alloys when I got home even though they had a pre wash with pressure washer first .I have a van but still like it mint . Also paid extra to get underside washed too and it still missed under sills and around wheel arches .

Not sure how to rate this car wash today, It was very busy with about ten cars infront of us, but we waited anyway as the car disgusting. We have always used IMO car wash and it's always been spot on but we went yesterday and all was or seemed fine until part way through, after it was washed the dryers didn't seem to blow the water up the screen like it usuly does and the cloth dryers or buffers right at the end were dripping wet so today our car is more marked than it was before we went in.

I absolutely do NOT recommend it. Never again!During hand washing, the car paint was damaged!I now have a scratch on the paint!

Great car wash. Lovely new young lad now working at the Durham car wash and he’s super friendly! Always has a smile on his face and is polite and cheerful!

Just a great car wash just love the triple foam , a good way to keep your car clean , also a long way better than these hand wash deals, scratch and shine i call them,Because a lot of them use dirty old cloths and don’t rinse anything in clean water,
