Old Skool curryhouse,.Nice food, big portions, friendly staff.Not a swanky place, but it hits the spot when you need your weekly 'curry fix'.

Always enjoyed a good curry at the Dilshad always had good service .... until our visit tonight .Food very good as it has been on previous visits, however, service was very poor. Restaurant was fairly busy but not full, so staff should have been able to cope with the number of diners. Annoyingly people seated after us were served before us !!!! With such a lot of competition from trendy curry houses the service needs to be a lot better to ensure the Dilshad stays open!!! Hopefully only a blip!!! Such a shame as we have always enjoyed eating at the Dilshad . May think twice next time.

Just had a takeaway from there. Ordered today which is a Thursday. Took nearly two hours to arrive. We kept calling and they were so rude and kept lying saying the driver was outside. No apology and randomly putting on hold or the phone down. So unbelievably rude.

was average as in the suace could of been better. Came and forgot drinks but hats off to the driver he went to the local shop and grab some for me.ThankyouUpdate. I've been in bed all day with a terrible stomach so won't be eating there again

I ordered from just eat. Managed to call a mobile and ask for paneer instead of chicken tikka. The meal came 20 minutes late I had no way of checking as I signed in as a just eat guest. I called the restaurant the number not recognised I called back the mobile on just eat and it was turned off, bad service!It came like warm after panicking that it wouldn’t come at all and I had no way of contacting the dilshad. Took my meal upstairs to my flat and no cocoa cola was inside! Tried to call the mobile left a voice mail to say bring it me asap or I’ll be leaving a google review as it was pure stress!I’ve sat and eaten inside the Dilshad many years ago the staff nice and food delicious, but to order on just eat is just not worth it! One time I looked online and it said the restaurant was closed so was surprised to see it live on just eat. I don’t know what they’re playing at but I’m still missing an item I paid for and had a late delivery so not happy at all. I’ll be going jilabis where I can sit and relax to enjoy my meal in future
