Intercity Private Hire

So dissapointed! The pre book and pre pay system is a joke. I pre booked and paid for a cab to take me to work. The driver didn’t arrive and after complaining I was told the driver was late because of it being busy because of school traffic, however it shouldn't be more than 10 mins. After 30 mins I called back to be told there actually was no driver for my job at all and never actually was! So they took my money and sent confirmation and never had a driver who could actually take that job! I was picked up eventually 45 mins late and I was late for my job. Shocking service…. Sort your system out Intercity… this is the 2nd time this has happened in our household and we will not use this service again. I have used this company for so many years and always recommended it.What has happened??

AVOID!!! Unbelievably bad service!! Booked a taxi 2 hours before the required time, only to be advised 15 mins after the required time, that they hadn't got a free driver for at least 45 mins! They accepted my booking request with no question, then when I phoned to chase it, that's when they told me I should not have used the recommended app to book and this is why a taxi had not been booked for me?!? I was also advised that if I had been a regular customer, I would've known this?!? How they expect to build their regular customer base, when giving out this shocking service, is beyond me!!! No apology either. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

Late for my own engagement party. Assured my taxi would arrive at 6. Told the taxi would be 5 mins at 10 past 6. Taxi didn’t arrive till 6:45. My engagement party started at 6:30!!! Leek Link for the win

Booked a taxi at 00.20 automated waited over an hour and still nothing , rang the operator and they say there are no taxi’s . A joke of a company

Great range of items for sale. Some stuff is a bit on the expensive side, and you can get cheaper elsewhere, which is just as good. But they have a lot of unusual items and Great ideas for home and garden and beyond.

Pre booked a return taxi to take us to a wedding at the three horseshoes. It never turned up. I rang twice, was told one was on its way right away, it didn't show up. I ended up driving so we wouldn't be late :( . We called on the way and we were told it would be half an hour at least. I told them not to bother and we cancelled it. The taxi for the return turned up, however I had to drive so we took our selves home. Very disappointed with the service and will not be relying on them again.

Highly recommended taxi service! Friendly, professional & punctual drivers. Also very helpful with elderly passengers with mobility issues, such as my Mum. I've used them a few times now & will gladly do so again in future. Thanks!

Used these through the take me app. Driver was late which wasn't a massive problem as it was a Monday morning. However on arrival driver said he preferred cash so paid him and they still charged my card. Rang to complain was assured that I would be refunded which I wasn't. DO NOT GIVE THEM CASH. Still waiting for either refund or manager to ring and its been 2 weeks. Won't be using them again which is a shame because before this I used them for years with no issue. Expected much better as a long term customer.Update. 4 months later and still no refund. Absolutely shocking.

Unfortunately I had the displeasure of using this company yesterday! Never again! The driver was laughing asking my son what he weighed! Does this effect his job? No it does not! If I started to ask him personal questions I’d be accused of been racist which I didn’t and I’m not! What does someone’s physical appearance effect the driver? For a personal service it was shocking and I will never use again. We got sent the number plate of the vehicle before hand so I will be telling everyone I know of this horrendous experience.

Everytime I book a taxi on the app,R through uber,they're always showing as '1 minute away' for 10 to 15 minutes, bit you can't cancel because they then want to charge you a fee that is ¾ of your ride total.
