The fish was fresh with a light crispy batter and the chips were perfectly cooked! The restaurant was friendly and unpretentious and it is full of photos and memorabilia of Preston.

Food is fine, but very unwelcoming staff unfortunately. I was polite when I visited, but they were rude in manner and not polite at all. The other people in the chippy at the time seemed unhappy also, and other people I’ve spoken to have had a similar experience. Seems from the other reviews they can’t take constructive criticism

This is Prestons finest Chippies I have been going for many years, its the best value cafe you will find with a real taste of Preston. The famous £1 chips and gravy or chips and curry has gone up to £1.50 which is still an absolute bargain especially for a family of 4 try and get hot food for a family for £6 anywhere. Please support this shop which is an independent local business which we need to keep or all the coparate chains will just take over.

I like this chippy. The people are polite and friendly. Ok the price has gone up from £1;25 to £1:50 but for a carry out you get a good portion of chips & curry sauce. I go there most days.

Went for dinner with my granddaughter, haven't been for a while. Both got the lite bite meal. Everything cooked fresh, fantastic value for money. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little chippy, right in the centre of town. I had a takeaway and the lady who served me was super friendly and the food was really good. Had a few chippy teas in the last month from various places, and hands down this was the best.It looks nice and cosy to sit inside, they even have an old hi-fi system with loads of CD's there I'm assuming you can choose to play if you like. Quirky and a great idea.I'd definitely recommend to try out if you're in town centre Preston
