My kids have recently joined this class. James and his supporting staff have been fantastic at helping them to feel part of the group. As well as learning Karate, there is a keen focus on wellbeing and championing one-another. Wonderful life lessons and I look forward to watching my children thrive.

Both of my children have attended for a number of years now and it has been lovely to see their confidence and ability develop. James is genuinely interested in all the kids that attend his classes and does everything he can to ensure they have a positive karate experience. My son has asked me why can't they be like James?" about a number of different teachers from other hobbies now. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone looking for a karate class for their kids (or themselves as Im sure the adult classes are just as good) ."

I cannot write enough good things about James, the karate that is taught, along with the life lessons & instilled discipline. Despite what must be hundreds of kids that pass through Bunbu Dojo, James seems to know them all by name, what is going on with their lives and this is clearly something the kids themselves notice, as they adore James, respect what he has to say and engage with the ethos the moment they step through the door. Cannot recommend enough.

My son has been part of this karate school for over a decade from a complete beginner to his second Dan black belt. I feel so proud of this school, having watched my son’s confidence & karate develop with a committed & caring leader in James. He has high expectations of the children, teaching more than just karate-discipline, kindness, team building & leadership. I can highly recommend it.

My son has been going to Bundu Dojo karate school for nearly two years now. He loves his karate lessons. We find that James and his support staff are brilliant with the children. The classes are well structured in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Bunbu Dojo Karate School
Have been taking our eldest since March and James has been great. our son can be a little shy in new environments which is part of the reason we wanted to start karate, but I have to say James is great with him and the other kids. Very engaging and knows how to adapt to different people and help all. Highly recommend!

My son has attended this karate school for a number of years. James is a fabulous teacher and fosters a karate school where everyone is welcomed, encouraged and nurtured to be the best that they can be. James has an incredible ability to teach to different ages and abilities and expertise at all at the same time. My son has developed confidence, self discipline and feels like he has found his “tribe” with his karate friends and colleagues. My son really values the time he spends in his classes and adores the social events that James provides for the School. Thank you!
