Sew 'n' Beads is the perfect place to learn how to sew clothes, cut patterns, make quilts and tonnes more! You can make pretty much anything you want and have a great time doing it. Sukh is a great teacher and so very patient with me! I love my Tuesday morning sessions at Sew n Beads where I work on my various projects whilst relaxing and chatting with a cup of tea and a biscuit! There is also a fantastic social knitting group on a wednesday night which is full of friendly faces and great chat.

I have been going to various classes and workshops taught by Sukh who runs Sew'n'Beads for a while now. Sukh will book your class with her to meet you on the level that you are at and you ask her for - take me for example, I really wanted to learn how to do quilting and patchwork but back then knew nothing about using a sewing machine. So I started out initially by booking a class on using a sewing machine. It wasn't long until I was able to make a cushion cover, a table runner, a make up bag, a bag and then a variety of mini quilts and patchwork creations.Recently I signed up for Sukh's workshop to make a t-shirt and then block print on it - this was for my daughter who loves it!So whether you are a novice to all this, or maybe just need to brush up your rusty sewing skills or indeed like some of Sukh's past students who are very good at their say, dressmaking, but just need some profession tuition and guidance to branch out Sew'n'Beads is the place to go. I can't thank Sukh enough for all that she has taught me and will continue to teach me.
