Absolutely rubbish have been at this surgery for 20 year never had any problems phone and get an appointment straight away doctors were friendly and great with the children. Now it takes an hour and a half of being in a queue just to talk to someone just to be told you can't see a doctor it has to be done over the phone then you get a telephone appointment and the doctor doesn't ring when they should this surgery has gone down hill worst surgery i have ever heard of needs to be sorted or they will lose patients

Awful. Ring forever, no answer, then if you do get through, you wait in a queue which is so slow it is frustrating.I waited 32 minutes, and was only No 5 ,in the queue. I was then told to call back the following day after the wait. I was then informed I couldn't book for the following day or week?. Crazy or what? Based on my wait, if I called the following day and was No 16 in the queue I'd be waiting around 2hrs for an answer??I Did manage to eventually make an appointment, but felt it was because I made a fuss. However you don't actually see a Dr anymore? only a practice nurse.. Attitudes not good either. The practice has Gone down Hill dramatically. I Had a long conversation with practice manager about their service, although pleasant enough, there are deep concerning issues in my opinion which require addressing urgently.

The doctors are great. The management is really frustrating. Why did they decide that you’re not allowed to pop in the surgery to make an appointment with the doctor? Who had this brilliant idea? I mainly use ASKMYGP just to skip the long time waiting on the phone just to ask for an appointment. But sometimes I just don’t want to force my brain to stay in front of the screens for another 10 minutes and narate another medical issue me or my child is dealing with. What if I’m missing another very important call while waiting to be picked up at the surgery? What if I smashed my phone and it’s not working at all? What if… what if we could still interact with each other, face-to-face?The interesting part is that sometimes ‘works’ to make an appointment at the reception, at the same surgery… then couple weeks after it doesn’t and this goes on and on.To whom it may concern: Just leave the doors open for all kind of scenarios. Some people would rather call, write a novel on askmygp or just simply pop in the surgery, all to make an appointment.I’m giving a 5 stars rating just because your rating is already dissapointing and truly because of the nice and caring doctors that works for you.Ps: I’ve always been aproached by receptionists in a profesional way I’m not even complaining about them. I’m not hating on the players I’m hating on the GAME.

On further review since my last they have actually gotten worse. Getting even harder to contact to get an appointment and appointments cancelled far to often when you get them. Serious changes are required

The worst surgery I’ve ever seen in my life. Never dealt on time, have no care/treatment plans for their patients.

Turned up for my first appointment at this surgery as I transferred from chesterfield. The nurse lady who did all my 1st checks, blood pressure, weight etc etc, was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of being seen by. Reading all the other reviews on here and seeing that all the negative reviews are by fault of the receptionists, it's an absolute shame that this affects the reviews for the whole surgery as the medical side all seem amazing.Come on receptionists sort yourselves out, manners and politeness cost nothing and your making the rest of the staff look bad.

Kept refusing blood tests that I needed and taking so long with replies I have missed important appointments for conditions that outer NHS practices needed the tests for. They also shut off replies after sending something, not giving you the chance to reply back to them.In a different instance over a year ago they kept telling me I was fine and it wasn’t until I went somewhere else that the other place noticed I had fractured ribs!!Avoid this practice as their neglect is appalling.

A very poorly managed and under funded practice. The prescription team are horrendous at their jobs and i believe a trained monkey would do a better job. I have been waiting well over a week for them to action a prescription now! Upon calling to chase them up I was told several times that it would be doneAnd trying to call them you are left listenting to a dinosaur speak for 5 minutes before an option can be selected. Before coming to this medical practice, see if any others will take you first

3 years of awful stomach issues leading to massive mental health issues and was told to have gaviscon. gone private and feel much better, also finally got a diagnosis, a super common stomach infection which I should have been given antibiotics for 3 YEARS AGO! Cheers for that complete and utter disregard for my wellbeing with something that even I could have told them had they just tested for it. won't get that £2000 back from the private care but I suggest if you want to get better please get a second opinion because getting to the point where the healthcare navigator (receptionist) is giving me advise to try hypnosis for an issue in my stomach not my head, I suspect they might be clutching at straws. The pain and depression this whole thing has caused me gives me the urge to either scream or laugh because of how absurdly open they seem to be about their lack of due care and attention. To be honest if you want a better medical opinion ask a stranger on the street and you'll get more accuracy. They used to be great when I was young but they've really gone downhill, which is a shame because people should be able to get better from the NHS, the system they pay into to keep their standard of life as high as possible.

Would rate zero stars if possible. My Nan who is 96 has been treated (if you can call it that) absolutely horrendously by yourselves.More or less impossible to get a appointment for a home visit and the few times they reluctantly agree to come they do nothing and push her aside. If a 96 year old who’s worked hard all her life can’t get proper care and is left in tears because of pain then I don’t know anymore I really don’tMe and my family will be making a more formal complaint as how she’s being treated is disgusting a animal would receive better care than she has!
