My diamond engagement ring got damaged and the stones fell out. We initially went to a high street jeweller to get an idea of price for insurance. They told us 3 out of 4 diamonds were chipped and quoted £1600 for new diamonds and strengthen claw.I took my ring to Robinsons and he assessed the damage and found the stones to be undamaged just faceted so that they fit snuggly together. They claw had been pulled open a little. I left my ring with them and they reset diamonds and improved claw setting. I'm hugely grateful to them for their honesty and quality workmanship.

Stay well clear of this crook.asked about removing a small stud that'd come loose in a watch.Told watch would need stripped apart,quoted £25.cobbler upstairs removed it in minutes with no charge.when confronted re his quote he said he'll go out of business""
