most amazing fish and chip shop i have been too. The staff are so friendly and always fry to order so that its nice and fresh. NEVER get my order wrong no matter how many people are in the shop.i would deffo recommend.

Omg!! This little fish and chip shop is amazing. Lovely friendly staff and always served with a smile! The foods always fresh especially the chips. They have so many different meal deals which literally cost next to nothing. Fish is fried to order and you know its fresh. You can ring up and order and its made within 5-10minutes to pick up. I would reccommend this place. Chicken burgers are spot on!!

Never again would I go to Mr G’s in Walker! I ordered a chip butty with a pie and after getting home setting my food out, I noticed when I was half way eating through the pie I seen a dead blue bottle fly. I contacted them to tell them what had happened and all I got in return was..... What do you want me to do? I only told them that they should check stock and keep a lookout for insects but they didn’t seem to care. They did offer me another meal but I refused. I’ve been going to the Willow2 ever since.

I have been coming here a while. Used to really like i . Good portions and friendly staff. Last time I went before lockdown misheard my order. Smoked sausage and chips with curry sauce was heard as child battered sausage and chips. Sorted it but lady quite grumpy.I haven't been since lockdown but decided I really fancied a chippy tea tonight.Well again she misheard same order as a childs sausage!!! Corrected her. Got my meal home. It was the tiniest portion ever with barely a drizzle of curry sauce and the sausage wasnt even warned throughWish I had just ordered a pizza from somewhere else instead.I wont be back. Once lockdown is over I will try the new chippy that opened round the corner

What a friendly chipper - my daughter has an egg allergy and I've been in places before where they've looked at me as if I had two heads when I asked if their batter was made with eggs. But the people at Mr G's were lovely (And my daughter could have the battered fish!). Really delicious cod and chips, cash only but there's a cashpoint next door. Recommended!

Is it just me or do you get very small portions of chips now. Asked for sausage and chips large didn't expect them to come in a carton. Honestly hand full of chips no bigger than when you get a sausage special. Disappointing as it never used to be like this
