I think my piece of fish was lifted straight from the fryer and onto my chips. Never have I had so much grease and oil. Disgusting... Binned. Oh, and the saveloy my lad had, the skin had completely come off it. Apparently they'd apologised for this. Apologised but not replaced or even given for free. Nope, full price for a greasy skinless saveloy. The wait is ridiculous too. Its one thing cooking large or speciality fish to order, but cooking everything to order is just mental! 2 stars because the battered sausage were good, as were the non greasy chips, but definitely won't be going back.

Brilliant for gluten free. There was a queue out the door but the staff do not let it faze them. They were extremely friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and piping hot. I ordered gluten free battered sausages and they were delicious. Tasted just how I remember them.

Very busy chip shop with decent quality fish but my Haddock was very greasy and my wife's was overcooked. Just needed to let my fish to drain and I'm sure it would have been better. The chips and curry sauce were very nice. I give it 2.5 stars.

Amazing fish and chip shop. They cook everything fresh when you walk in, this means there is a slight wait but worth it for one of the freshest fish and chips you will haveOnly a short walk to to the beach too

I ordered a large cod, small chips, for £9. Service was quick and polite, the cod a good size. A little overcooked and a tad dry, for my taste, but everyone's different. A filling meal nonetheless.

Maybe we just caught the chippy on a bad day but was very disappointed with the service. A queue of 10 people when arriving turned into an hour wait from arrival time to leaving. 2 people working behind but instead of taking the orders for the line waiting outside, was cooking to order. Food was OK but nothing to scream about - very greasy as it didn’t have enough time to drain. Fortunately as the sun was out the queue was nice and chatty. Anyone thinking of swinging by, if you see a queue just don’t bother.

Great range of gluten free options here, and the portion sizes were reasonable - not too big, or too small! I felt remember the last time we had fish and chips and finished it!

Literally the first fish and chip I’ve been to that could confirm their batter is egg and dairy free. Normally I get a shrug of the shoulders and told to wait while we go and find the packaging and read the contents. Amazing fish and chip service. Thanks to all concerned.

My wife's gluten free and it can be tough to find good fish and chips. Most don't have it at all, some have it just on a certain day, and some do it every day but it's not that good. These guys have various gluten free options as a core part of their menu. We phoned up in advance and it was ready right on time, with everything clearly labelled. Chips were nice and crunchy with good portions, and the fish batter was superb. We all hoovered it up. They also made a fuss over our 5 year old who went back in to ask lots of 5 year old type questions. We will certainly be back

Just been there. They say they close at 1:30pm yet I arrived at 1:52pm. They were still open, people still sat at the tables just outside eating. I walked in to try and make an order, there was a lady before me and she was just paying contactlessly with her card at the counter and this other man behind the bar rudely told me that they were closed and was not going to do any orders. How bloody ridiculous. Walked out appalled. Was my first time there and definitely the last. These people don't deserve any business.
