Hamilton Nursery

I'm now on my 2nd child who's attending this nursery. I love the app so we can see what they have been up to what they've had and how much. There is lots of variety for meals, lots of differnt activities, with a lovely asthetic set of rooms inside. Seeing their progress and pictures with what they have been learning is also great.The staff are so friendly and nurturing. Leaving your kids with someone else is hard going but I'd not trust anyone else. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work making a day at nursery fun and exciting and a day at work less anxious for me x

Went to visit the nursery twice , out of ratio both times . . Non of the staff made an effort with the children actually in the rooms apart from one girl who they said was an apprentice . . One of the managers (an elderly lady) in the office not professional at all with attitude/ appearance/ manners and the last issue was lying , I asked a member of staff showing me around about the ofsted report where a child walked out the nursery and the lady said it wasn’t the current nursery the ofsted reflected to it was the old staff/ management / owners when coming to the office and questioned it again as had a doubt what I was told another manager confirmed it was them and tried to blag it by saying it was the parents fault a child was handed over and the parent had the door open talking to another parent and the child walked out ????? So it was nothing to do with the nursery but how ever the ofsted report says different?Main factors the staff just walk around and hardly communicate with children , this was observed twice on both visits , no challenging activities for the children and more important out of ratio then lying on top to cover it up!!!

My son use to go here and it was an average experience.It all started off well until the class my son was in had a change of teachers.It became hard for my son to adapt to the new teachers as they were on rotation.Then there was a constant change of teachers coming into the nursery and the experienced staff leaving.It was always a battle to get my son to go and i always use to struggle more than when he first started.My son also picked up on some swear words because one of the staff in the office had her children coming in after school. They were older and very naughty which reflected on my sons behaviour.There was also a few mistakes they made..•They had an assembley which was in the class and there was too many adults and many children were uncomfortable doin the play because the class was packed.I suggested the facility upstairs but it never happened.Also we are Sikh and the new year was not celebrated until i suggested it and a week after the new year day, they decided to do some activities to show the sikh new year.Not a great experience and we paid alot of money thinking this place was good but got stuck as my son had friends in hamilton nursery so we did not want to move him.

Feel very comfortable putting my child in this nursery! Like every parent you worry when you leave your child with someone other than family, when I discussed this with the nursery they were very understanding and supportive and put me at ease immediately. Best of all my daughter loves to go herel.. Highly recommended to anyone!

My son has been at the nursery since the age of 9 months, now at 3 ½ years we have removed him after serious concerns about the nursery and its conduct. The nursery has been reported to OFSTED so watch this space.After an disagreement with the nursery manager over access the operation managers decided to take revenge and wrongly report my child to social services. This is just wrong and we are shocked and upset at the managements conduct.After the incident our son came home saying that the nursery staff have been saying to him that Daddy is naughty and he kept repeating this, this is unacceptable and this has been raised as a serious complaint with OFSTED. Trying to poison a 3yrs mind is not acceptable and is a serious cause for concern.Both me and my wife are friends with other parents from the nursery and they have also expressed similar concerns about the quality of the childcare and this is also echoed on various social media groups so suggest you do your due dilligence by reading up on the concerns/experiences from other parents before choosing this nursery.Both me and my wife are deeply upset with the nursery and its conduct and have now removed our son permanently from the nursery. We understand the nursery is privately owned and have repeatedly asked to speak to the owners about the incident and demand an apology and report the conduct of the management but they are not passing our complaint to the owners, we have had no option but to resort to leaving this review now.

My daughter has been here since the beginning of December and I couldn’t fault it at all! She absolutely loves being here and has developed so much! I get updates daily of my daughters day and we love to come home and discuss about what she has been learning and how much fun she has had!

new management not only change nursery layout but also change my son's progress too. he learn lots new things, he is more confident , he is more friendly , taking part in all the activity's. trying new thing. he try all new food as well .highly recommend this nursery . best staff members who is always help and support like family.

Worst Nursery in Leicester, Bad manager, they just dont care and toddlers coming home smelling of cigarette smoke

I came to see the hamilton nursery on an open day after visiting several nurseries. We came in we were very welcomed by all the staff, they all are lovely and soo warm. My daughter felt soo comfortable in the first instance where all the staff tried showing her around bearing in mind i didnt see her as comfortable when i went to the other nurseries. The environment the setup is amazing. All childrens toys are clean no hazards to the children. The number of staff on the children ratio is brilliant. I strted the settling in sessions with my daughter i was feeling soo upset anxious about leaving her and my daughter felt the same, however susan mitchelle molly and jenny have been nothing but amazing in helping the both of us settle. They have an app where you can keep in touch with them, they upload all the activities my daughters been doing with pictures of her where we can see them and with the look on my daughters face i wouldnt change a thing about this school. i would say environment 5 stars, staff 5 stars, equipment 5 stars. I am very very pleased with my daughter to continue her first years of school with hamilton nursery absolutly brilliant i wouldnt change a thing about this nursery. All iv seen with hamilton nursery has been positive and i have no complaints only compliments about this school.
