Alan was my solicitor for my first ever house purchase. He was absolutely fantastic, exceptionally speedy (from offer to completion in < 7 weeks) and kept me informed at all times. As a first time house buyer I was very nervous, Alan put me at ease. I was recommended Alan Turner and co. from a colleague who also had a similar fantastic experience. Although Alan Turner & co. are based in Bath I completed the house purchase in Cheltenham - there were no snags. Receptionist was also extremely lovely, kept comprehensive notes, always answered the phone and got back to me very speedily. Thank you all - Nadia

I work in development so have come into contact with many different conveyance solicitors over the years. Alan Turner is easily the WORST solicitor I have ever had the displeasure of working with. In all it took us 18 months to purchase a house were he was acting for the seller and a large part of this delay was caused by Alan Turner’s incompetence and ineptitude. It took him over 8 months to just respond to our solicitor despite numerous chasing…! He wouldn’t answer the phone or return our calls and after a year of waiting it came to light that many of the delays were caused by him incorrectly submitting forms to the probate office and then failing to respond to them when they contacted him. If I could give him 0 stars I would. PLEASE PLEASE avoid using this company at all costs.
