Rooms are nice and equipment ok but recently noticed a lack of tlc. Drum kit was missing the hi hat clutch and no felts for the cymbals. Guitar amp was very limited. All rooms should provide guitar amplification with gain and overdrive. Guitar hangers on the walls beginning to disappear too.

I always have a nice experience when rehearsing in one of the many Pirate studios.Quick response time when asking for more kit, easy online booking and also a solid but quiet air conditioning system in each room! Very reasonable prices and so handy that it's open 24hrs and there's so many studios to choose from. I can't recommend Pirate enough!

Can’t fault these new studios. Very quiet building and kind of a complicated layout, but once you’re in the room, the tech is immaculate and in-room facilities are faultless. The whatsapp number is very good and fast to respond if any issues. Will be returning!

Love playing / creating music but your family and neighbours would rather you didn't then load up your gear and drive over to your nearest pirate.com rehearsal / recording/ podcast space where you can park for free, unload, enter a key code at the entrance and open the door to creative freedom at an affordable price. We're talking £8.50 an HR off-peak ( £10 otherwise) 25% off for 4 HR bookings, 65% for 12 hrs and above. There are 37 self service studios in total in this Camden branch. 12 DJ spaces, 13 recording studios, 7 rehearsal spaces and 5 podcasting booths. The recording studios and rehearsal spaces are the most variable in size but all rooms are equipped professionally. So you ll expect to find mixing desks, mics, amps, cables, stands, guitar hangers, seating( podcast area)etc. You just turn up and plug in. Bookings are on line, you can join their community to collaborate with other users and it takes the headache out of trying to convince your mates that they've got the music,dance or podcaster urge when they don't. See photos for how everything works. NB broken loo door and slightly hyrogyphric signage to the working ones. If you forget snacks n drinks there are vending machines in the communal area with enough space around them for you to walk off tired muscles from any creative strain. Can't help wondering if some one did a dragons den type pitch to get this to be a much bigger business and creative opportunity to share with the masses than it's original Bristol incarnation. Brilliant concept well executed.

Great place to mix as always, proving to be a lifesaver for me since my own equipment is broken at the moment, only bad thing is the equipment is a bit tired in places however still usable.

Very nice place, big and with good equipment. The bag checking was a bit awkward, but I understand they are fighting to stay open.
