Cakes ok but not Hungarian ones as used to be. I ordered a diet coke which was lukewarm. It is not unreasonable in the summer to expect a fizzy drink to be cold using a fridge. Also, no toilet. If you serve food and drink to be eaten on the premises, then there should be a toilet.

Well deserving of five stars. Friendly, efficient staff and this place has been going from 1963. The patisserie are magnificent......I think a jewel of a place. Not for private meetings but great for food and atmosphere......

Very cozy tea room ambience. The food and the beverages are great, served in beautiful cups.If you are in a good mood you will appreciate the tackiness of the place for old styles sake, otherwise you d think it s decoration is of bad taste.

I came for a takeaway coffee and was greeted by very nice waitresses and the smell of amazing looking pastries and cakes. My coconut cappuccino tasted good and I’d love to come back to taste some food. One of the few places in the scenic Hampstead which doesn’t give a feeling of chain after chain after chain.

It’s a cute little cafe that has sandwiches, rolls and cakes. It was a perfect place to hideaway from the rain.

Really really friendly staff! The eggs are beautifully cooked, and the sour dough is also the best choice of the day. Simply tasty! We enjoy very much of our coffee too. Def will come back!

Me and a few friends came here the other day and it was honestly an amazing experience!!! Such an amazing independent cafe!! Freshly made pastries and super yummy cakes which are all so affordable and amazing prices for hampstead. The coffee is amazing and great quality. The cafe has a amazing atmosphere and i will definitely be visiting again!

Well...a bit disappointing. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, the 2 shop assistant ladies (1 turkish and 1 romanian...no hungarian in a hungarian pastry shop?) were kind but did not have much knowledge about the products. The place was empty, there was only one customer beside me-he was just leaving. So...I bought a piece of cake with chestnut. The cake itself tasted like coffee and it was only sprinkled with chestnut...and did not taste fresh at all. For £3.50 I would call it mid-priced but should have been more fresh.

We rested with friends in this cafe and were completely satisfied. An ideal ratio of price and quality. Friendly staff and a very warm atmosphere. The cakes are delicious, the coffee is one of the best we have ever tasted. We really liked the fact that this establishment tries to please every customer. The presentation of dishes is very refined. We were left with very pleasant impressions and we will definitely visit you again and will recommend this cafe to everyone!
