swim! Oldham

My daughter loves her swimming lessons at Swim! Oldham. She has been attending lessons here since she was 3 and, now at 6 years old she is happily swimming lengths, confident in the water, and knowledgable about water safety, all thanks to the great teachers at Swim! Oldham.

Both my boys really enjoy their lessons at swim. Joe has been very patient and doing so allowed my little boys confidence to develop in the water and he is progressing well through his classes now, from crying and making up every excuse he could find to get out of the water he is now relaxed in the water and progressing well.Hayley has taught my eldest son for the last year and really adapts to the needs of each child. He has become a confident swimmer and loves his lessons.I like the exclusive environment just for children’s swimming lessons. The view of the pool can be a little restricted at times. The website is still abit of a nightmare to navigate at times but any issues have been resolved by staff on site.

Hayley & Joe have both taught my kids how to swim and now my children are very confident swimmers! A life skill that every child needs. Hayley and joe both are amazing teachers I would definitely recommend swim! Oldham , Compared to any other swimming place. This place is just for children so you know you won’t get adults swimming at one end and a tutor teaching children how to swim on another side. The water is nice and warm for the children to learn not the typical swimming places where the water is cold. The lessons can be abit pricy if you have more than one child swimming so that’s something to bear in mind too. The only negative thing I would say is that the swim classes are bit short if they can be 40 mins instead of 30 as there are 5/6 children in 1 class & it feels like the child doesn’t get enough time to swim or learn a skill the teacher is teaching at the time as everyone in that group needs to have a go. On some occasions there only 1 child in the swimming class so it feels like a 1-1 teaching session which is a WIN WIN but when everyone turns up with out any absences it can get over whelming/crowded.

Overall I can’t fault Swim Oldham. The staff are very friendly, the facilities are fine, though obviously not as modern as the newer venues. The pool is warm and well spaced for the amount of children in there.We have had both Hayley and Joe as teachers and they are great.

Fantastic swimming lessons. Amazing friendly staff. Reception staff welcome you with a smile each morning. Hayley is an amazing swimming teacher, she has built my sons confidence in the water and has helped him to gain many different skills in such a short space of time. Hayley has a fantastic relationship with each of her students and knows them as individuals. She sets personal targets for them and is always so positive, pushing the children to always achieve. Without Hayley he wouldnt be as good as he is. She is worth her weight in gold!

My son has been swimming here since it opened and is now in his final level. The team are amazing. It’s a little community where everyone knows who you are and more to the point care. Hats, badges, certificates and stickers all covered by the monthly DD so no hidden extras to pay when your child completes their levels. Everything on site so no waiting around for awards. Highly recommend to anyone with children looking to gain a life skill and keep their children safe

I have 2 boys that swim here. They both started in swim 1 2 years ago. Now the eldest who is 7 is in Swim 5 and the youngest who is 5 is in swim 3. The coaches are very encouraging, personable and engaging. They communicate with the children well depending on their age group and know how to keep swimming fun whilst ensuring learning is also taking place, particularly water safety. The provision provided is definitely worth the money and much better quality than other providers in the area.

Highly recommend Swim! My daughter Harlow, has been coming for a few years & we have always tried our best to stick with Hayley. She is a fantastic teacher with alot of time for the kids. Her passion is clear and an absolute asset to the group.
