Very professional service.Came to look at the job the day after i rang and came to do the work the following day.They fitted me a new fuse box and new 4 Led down lights in my bathroom.It was an awkward job to fit the new fuse box but they did a excellent job,cleaned up after the work was done and was a good price.I will definitely use them again for any electrical work

After not turning up a handful of times, and then leaving the half completed job early a couple of days, Russ left a supposedly completed job unsafe and uncertified (according to another electrician who amended and certified it) and what was installed wasn't to regulations- eg no grounded shielding on armoured cable.Instead of fixing all the errors, which he said he would repeatedly fix, he kept ignoring me. After chasing up for a around year, he finally answered when I withheld my number and said he couldn't fix the issues as he was really ill and hadn't got long left to live.A friend then rang for a quote from Russ and he agreed to go and quote the following week.... not truly ill then, just avoiding repairing the uncertified mess he left after taking the money from my elderly parents.My advice, stay away before you lose your money and have to pay someone else to rectify Russ's substandard, uncertified, job.Edit. Funnily enough, he did ring me after this review. So if you need to contact him after a year of trying, I suggest keeping a warts and all review. It would appear he'll then attempt contact.

Great electrician highly reccomend

I've recently had some work done and found Newton electrics very friendly and efficient.He did a fantastic job with minimal mess and cleared away before he finished. I would definitely recommend this company for the excellent service that was given

Originally I had posted a very positive review, having now used Newton a second time the service was well below the previous experience and what would be expected. They carried out an electrical safety check on the entire house, promised the certificate, I paid and waited for the certificate. It never came, no explanation given, calls go to voicemail, texts are unanswered. Very poor service in the end. Previously had no issues and had recommended to others, I now would not recommend their services.
