Excellent service. Very good advice from Sally and Millie. Kept up to date at all stages. Selling of the house took longer than expected (for reasons beyond Sowerbys control I might add!) They got the job done and were polite and professional at all times. A pleasure to deal with.

Sally did a great job on the property we bought. Even though she was acting for the vendors Sally was professional, respectful and responsive to queries and was able to negotiate well in a difficult market allowing all parties to come to an acceptable compromise. We had a good experience and would recommend Sally in particular.

Sowerbys, Norwich Norfolk.One of the greatest stresses of a life and not to diminish other stressful life events is with the sale of a home and all that it entails.So I began my journey to find the best agency with meeting various estate agents who are all keen to take on my property and the commission that it rewards.In return all I ask for in earning their commission is for the agent to do more than be a call centre for enquiries and do far more than sending out an “agent” who has no information other than a company leaflet on the sale.I had been seeking a new home and was keen to go out and view market availability but was disappointed with how agents did so little.Example - no names - one agent had two properties from one vendor on their books and whilst viewing the first I became aware of the other property from the vendor, I asked to go and look at this second property to be told no that’s not arranged you need to see the next booked property. Each property I visited with that agent they handed me the leaflet and had no other information (knowledge) on the property.So the preamble I hope shows just how poor I found other agents and I was so keen to find THE agency that would give a fair service during the sale of my home.So I found Sowerbys and what makes Sowerbys great and an easy recommendation to anyone who asks is touched on with the following points.Sowerbys start by getting to know your home and making your time at that home real as to why that home should appeal to a potential buyer.During the initial visit many steps had been outlined to me, for example how each person at the agency that would engage with the sale of my home would know it, the land it sat on, the patio that caught the sun best, the characteristics of the property and they would visit and spend time with the property so that any potential buyer could ask all questions and have faith that the agent they spoke to was giving them a realist response to those questions.My point of contact was Emma Rose at Sowerbys and working in this professional agency she was also very relatable I felt that I was always in good hands.The buyer was exactly the person I wished to have my home and they had done their homework which included reporting on how Emma handled their requests so well.I am so grateful to Emma for the great communication including the care and attention shown during all aspects of my sale. I was updated every step of the way. The Sowerbys team as a whole were so helpful, always able to take my calls and answer the questions in Emma’s absence.I highlight Emma as the rapport she built with me and the removal of the stress she also had been assisting me with by her reassurances at each stage.Very grateful Victoria

I would heartily recommend Sowerbys if you are looking for an estate agent that is both extremely professional and very helpful. For various reasons (due to problems within our chain), the sale of our old property and the purchase of our new home has been somewhat protracted. Throughout this time though, Millie especially, has been very proactive, maintaining good and regular communications with the other agents and solicitors within the chain and also talking to the developers who have built our new house. We can't thank her enough for her support and assistance throughout the past few months. Even our buyer was impressed with her dynamism. Definitely 5* from us.
