After trying on way too many dresses to count, and feeling very deflated; myself and mother thought we would have a look in Allison Jayne Cardiff. Straight away we received a first class service from Tricia and Karen. They were extremely welcoming and helpful despite not having an appointment booked. We were lucky enough that we caught them on a quiet afternoon, so they kindly dedicated their afternoon to our service. Nothing was too much for them, and they allowed me to try on numerous dresses until I found ‘the one’. Both were extremely helpful and friendly, and gave advice without being pushy at all. I would highly recommend skipping other bridal stores in Cardiff, and visit this store where you will be offered a fantastic service.I left the store feeling a ‘million dollars’, and with a huge smile on my face which has been lost for a while. Thank you again ladies!! Now I am excited and can not wait for the big day. Xxx

Had the most exceptional time a couple of weeks ago picking out my wedding dress! Karen was absolutely brilliant and really made me feel at ease. I asked that she be honest about whether or not she felt dresses suited me and she was so professional, which I truly appreciated. I was also the first bride for a new starter who was so lovely and again really understood what we were after and gave her opinions as we asked! It felt like I was shopping with my family and some good friends. I could not have been more comfortable anywhere else.She let my family sit down and enjoy the appointment and after we left everyone was blown away with how easy and straightforward the affair was!I cannot recommend Allison Jayne highly enough! The store is airy and beautiful and the range of options available are unparalleled!I can't wait to come back for my fittings!

Such a pleasant experience and I didn't nt feel at all awkward whilst trying things on. Karen so very helpful and patient even when I asked to try on others after my original selection. As soon as I described what I wanted she pulled out one I had been eyeing up for ages. The attention that was paid to my mother's opinions was much appreciated also! I had the most wonderful time shopping for my wedding dress at Allison Jayne. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very comfortable, and we had so much fun! My dream dress ('Tunya' by Pronovias) was on the mannequin and I knew the second I saw it that it was the one. The lady who helped me was Karen, and she was so kind and thoughtful - listening to what I wanted/didn't want and making suggestions based on that. Even though I had seen the one I wanted I was very grateful that I tried others on, and Karen knew that I would feel that way! Hannah was also lovely and I really enjoyed chatting to them both. We didn't feel rushed at any point and it was a really personalised, special experience.All of my fittings were such wonderful experiences. Karen was so patient and considerate, and was very kind and accommodating when I kept changing my mind about certain things! We also met Allison Jayne during a fitting in Swansea, and again when I finally picked up my dream dress. We felt in such safe hands the entire time and I never had any worries that the dress would be perfect on the day. An extra bonus was finding out that I was getting married on the same day as Sarah, who manages the Swansea store! It was so much fun talking to her about our big days and comparing notes.If you're looking for your dream dress, don't hesitate to book an appointment - you will be in such thoughtful and capable hands. I wish I could do it all over again - thank you so much ladies for looking after me and being such superstars from beginning to end!

I loved every minute of my bridal shopping experience at Allison Jayne, not only did I find the perfect dress but Karen and Kate made the whole experience seamless. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It was Karen's expertise that helped me pick my dress and the service I received from start to finish was amazing. Thank you again for everything.

DO NOT USE ALLISON JAYNE BRIDALWEARUnless you want to be lied to constantly, not receive your dress until 3 weeks before your wedding, and be sold a dirty, used veil, please do not use this shop for your special occasion.I ordered my dress in January 2022 for our wedding in June 2023. We were told that I would need to pay for it in full straight away and that the dress would be with us by October.Between October 2022 and June 2023, we called the shop a number of times. They informed us there were delays due to the designer, we were always patient and understanding that these things happen. Every time we called, we were promised a callback when the dress would be ready – they never once called us back.Two months ahead of the wedding, and real panic started to set in. How long could they keep using these excuses and never actually call me back?I decided to take matters into my own hands and called the designer directly. They told me the delay in it arriving was purely due to Allison - I won’t speculate as to why but we are more than aware of the reason.Finally, 3 weeks before my wedding, I finally tried on my dress and veil. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. Allison took my veil away to be boxed up and when we arrived home it was filthy and had 3 holes in it - it was clear we had just been given the one from the shop floor. My seamstress told me that the water after cleaning the dress was grey!Needless to say, we are beyond disappointed in Allison Jayne. She was completely gas lighting us, we were made to feel like a nuisance, overreacting. In the lead up to our wedding, both myself and my Mum were unwell with the worry of whether I would even have a dress! We are also yet to receive any form of apology. Do not use this shop.

I had the best experience shopping for my wedding dress at Allison Jayne today. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very comfortable. Karen helped me pick out styles that I liked and assisted me whilst I was trying them on, she was so lovely as was Hannah who came and chatted to us. The shop has a lovely atmosphere and the whole experience was very personal.Thank you for helping me pick my dream dress. I am so happy I visited your store. x

I loved the wedding dress I found and paid a lot of money for at Allison Jayne Bridal but it has recently closed in #Bristol. I’ve tried to call and email them at Bristol and now other stores in Cardiff and Swansea and nothing for over a month.

Had the most amazing experience at Allison Jayne Bridal at the Cardiff store with Hannah. As soon as my mum and I entered the store we felt comfortable and welcome. Hannah took the time to find out the exact style I was looking for we just clicked! I ended up buying the first dress I tried on and I was in love with it! There were so many options but I knew when I had found the one" all in all I had the best experience I could have had with Hannah and would highly recommend"
