Gourmet pop up

Simply the best! They produced the best meal and overall catering experience we could have hoped for, for our wedding in the garden... Felan has a gift when it comes to preparing the most amazing dishes and Laura runs the front of house incredibly. I cannot recommend Gourmet Pop Up enough. You can put all of your trust in them, they will not let you down.

We initially reached out to Laura and Felan due to them advertising a completely bespoke Wedding menu, which included options for all the variety of dietary requirements we would need (vegan, dairy free, gluten free, etc). We were blown away by our tasting session, so much so we struggled to narrow down our choices! Laura was great on the phone and in person, helping us to finalise our canapés, wedding menu and evening food options. Felan was in complete control of the kitchen, despite working at a new venue, and we felt incredibly comfortable throughout the day that there was nothing we needed to worry or think about. The food itself on the day was amazing, many of our guests commented that it was the best Wedding food they’ve ever had, and that it felt like a fine dining experience. Absolutely loved having gourmet pop up running the food at our wedding. Felan and Laura from the outset were great to ask loads of questions, let us know how these weddings work, and made sure we had everything covered. They really went the extra mile and ensured we had an epic day and would always want them to cater all events. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfectly filling. The staff were lovely and friendly. The additional touches of our chopping board and how friendly the pair were, just made us happy that we had picked gourmet pop up. Wow, I cannot explain how amazing these guys are. We worked with them for our wedding and from initial enquiry right through to clearing up on the night, they were exceptional.Felan and Laura really took care in listening to exactly what we wanted and creating a bespoke package. We had a vision of how we wanted the day to go and they bent over backwards to ensure that vision came to life. We decided to use our own vintage side plates, cutlery, glassware, platters etc. and they were amazing in making sure everything looked spectacular on them as well as making sure it was cleared away safely. They were the only caterer we spoke to who were flexible enough to let us choose the aspects we wanted to do ourselves – even down to serving our own mulled wine for us. The staff on the night were brilliant - the waiting staff were efficient and polite, Laura took so much time and effort to make sure it all ran smoothly and Felan worked incredibly hard non stop in the kitchen.Communication was excellent from start to finish – planning a wedding is stressful and these guys took all the hassle out of the catering side which was such a huge help for us. From phone calls and zoom meetings through covid to meeting on site to finalise details, we always felt listened to and accommodated by them both. They really do go above and beyond to create your day for you.The food itself was just incredible – we were able to choose exactly the dishes we wanted and they even came up with Christmassy twists for us. Every person we spoke to raved about the quality of the food and the taste (check out their social media for photos to show just how good it all looked). We have several friends who work in the wedding/events industry and every one of them said it was up there with the best of the best. How they created what they did from a village hall kitchen is incredible.We really cannot recommend them enough – wedding, birthday, anniversary or just any shin-dig, they come with the biggest thumbs up from us!

My younger brother got married in December 2021.... they used Gourmet Pop up and what a great decision that was, the team were professional and nothing was too much trouble! The food was amazing from the mince pie and mulled wine on arrival to the main course event and finally to the evening reception, they worked extremely hard and we had the most amazing day..... great company that I would highly recommend.

Laura and Felan catered our wedding. The whole experience from original quotes and discussions, to the complimentary engraved serving board they gave us, was so personal and thoughtful. Their food is absolutely amazing, we had so many complements on the day. And the service was faultless and so accommodating. Thank you for helping make it such a special day. X

Very professional and friendly catering company. As a wedding videographer I meet lots of suppliers and this company really stood out.The day was very long and timings were challenging, but Laura + the team went above and beyond to keep their customers happy. I would definitely recommend them!

Gourmet Pop Up were recommended by our wedding venue , and for good reason! Laura and Felan made us feel comfortable and confident from planning to plate, and the food was just exceptional!We wanted a locally sourced, seasonal menu and Felan wrote up the most delicious sounding options which we then chose from. Laura was incredibly helpful throughout the planning and made sure that our day ran seamlessly.All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was , and the service was impeccable. Felan, Laura and Gracie made my 40th birthday celebration a night to remember, I would highly recommend Gourmet Pop Up to cater any special occasion.Felan put together a completely personalised menu; catering two different choices for the adults and children. On the evening we were able to sit back and relax, as they took care of everything; from setting and dressing the table, cooking and serving a very special and delicious 4 course meal, to cleaning and tidying everything up afterwards.Getting my 8 week old niece to sleep, so that my sister could enjoy her starter whilst it was still hot, was above and beyond the brief, but Laura was more than happy to help and it was very much appeciated!Thank you for the delicious food, perfect service and all the extra touches that made the night very special.
