Hands down the best pawnbrokers in the area. One of the main reasons being Jeanette, who stands out for being extremely professional and accommodating and was able to give me a fair price in just a few minutes.

Spent the afternoon visiting a few local shops to get an offer for some unwanted jewellery. By far the most unpleasant experience of the lot.Firstly, the door is locked. After buzzing, I was left outside for around 15 minutes. (That should have been the hint to go) No intercom message asking politely to wait, just simply ignored.I realised that they probably had another client , so i waited.When allowed in, the assistants think they are working in Sothebys.My items including a 1.6 carat diamond were taken out the back for about 15 minutes. When the assistant returned, he was unable to make any offer. He simply said, Do you think you could return tomorrow as we are closing shortly" It was 4.40 pm !!!!He went on to say

I have used Robertsons jewellers on Edgeware Road for over 30 years now I've moved to Surrey I still go there , The service is friendly let very professional. I used a pawn shop in Weybridge Posh pawn" there was three customers in the shop myself being one and two out of 3 were complaining and that the money that you borrowed and what you have to pay back is over double absolutely insane I'd never use that shop again I'd rather take the train into London and go to Robertsons that I've known for years and feel that most things are safe there

Went to get a necklace appraised a few years ago and was told to leave it with them and they'd get back to me. They called to say what the valuation was but that they weren't interested in buying coloured gems at the time. I was overseas at the time and often am so going back to the shop took longer than expected. I went back in a year or so ago to collect the necklace, to be told they couldn't find it anywhere and that they would call in the next few days once they've located it. They called to say they had found it but by that point, i was overseas again. I emailed them they other day to confirm they had the necklace now that I'm back in the UK but they have lost it and apparently dont have any of my details.So I have lost a necklace because they just cant find it - dont trust them with your valuables!!

The staff at the Edgware Branch of Sutton & Robertsons are the nicest and most helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Many thanks for your always kind assistance.
