Leadenham Polo Club

Fab venue and fantastically behaved horses! Had a great corporate day with my work colleges here for a polo lesson, an eye opener to how hard that sport is! So much fun, and know we'll be back for more, and some coming with our children for lessons too

Just left from two days introduction to the game of Polo with work friends. The house was lovely and cosy and the location is beautiful. Our host James was awesome. The ponies were super and knew their job. It was so enjoyable and we will be back. Highly recommended for polo experiences or the house is ideal for relaxing stays. The hot tub was a brilliant bonus. Having never ridden a horse, I was apprehensive of my first Polo lesson with my fellow colleagues from Red Carpet Ready, however, the staff and our Coach Rob were extremely friendly and put me at ease very quickly. The venue is amazing - great for an event. I have since been back to their Summer Porsche Polo tournament - this was a great family day out, and extremely well organised. I would definitely recommend a lesson or to go for a day out to watch the Polo.

Stayed here for a 30th birthday party. Lovely old house. Very large hot tub. House had some maintenance issues. Locks broken or missing some lights not working and the showers either didn't work or worked badly.

Such a shame that the Club doesn't generate enough income to allow Mr Reeve to support his child, young Henry. Perhaps guests there might bear this in mind, and offer some voluntary contributions to help the poor chap out.

Hall available for weekend stays when not in use for Polo. 6 doubles and 2 twin rooms. Plenty of room, open log fire great. Catering style kitchen, not the best layout but stocked well with plates etc. 2 bathrooms upstairs, next door to each other, when 1 shower in use no water comes out other! Beds felt damp. Also separate toilet and shower at other end of upstairs. Downstairs toilet only available when polo club not using it. Hot tub.

Been trying to contact this ub for months. Very rude never answer phone or emails or calls or wattsupp messages. Incredible how any business can run like this. Very frustrating when all I want to do is book a session. No info on their sites about taster days for polo. Very very dissappinted. Very

A group of 11 of us travelled up from London for a really amazing polo weekend! I had visited the club once before (for my very first polo lesson), and was very excited to return - I was not disappointed!We travelled up from London via car on Friday, which took about 3h (an easy drive) and were greet with a warm welcome from James. We were staying in the manor house which was clean, comfortable, with lots of country charm. Several of the rooms had been updated since my last visit and we had super comfy beds!We had a cooked breakfast on Saturday morning before heading out for our lesson at 10am. Several of the group had not played before and we had a quick warm up and intro from James. The ponies were absolutely brilliant, responsive, unflappable and definitely knew how to play polo better than me! We were cantering about in no time.We had a pub lunch in the village and then had a second lesson with Rob in the afternoon, who focused on our riding and helped us build our confidence. It went so quickly - I didn't want to get off my pony, and should have booked a lesson for Sunday!On Saturday evening the club was holding a BBQ and we got to meet some other members (and experience the hot tub!). We left on Sunday morning and have already planned our next visit in the spring. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Stayed in the manor for a Christmas party. Lovely venue very warm and welcoming owner. Fully equipped kitchen made whipping up food a breeze. Would come again

Great relaxed and welcoming club perfect for beginners and experienced players alike, beautiful setting and very friendly team! We travel all the way from Sweden and Belgium to spend the time here and keep coming over year after year!
