Jordan's Woodflooring

The service was very friendly and helpful and the wood floor we have is beautiful, but I really wish someone had explained properly to us that brushed oil wood floors mark extremely easily with anything remotely oily, eg dropped scrambled egg, drops of milk, buttered toast. This is trivial unless you live with a baby and it's the floor of your living room where you all eat together, which we had explained to them. We asked for advice on whether we should have a lacquered wood floor as we wanted it to be hard wearing, but we were advised that the brushed oil floor is better because it doesn't scratch as easily as lacquered floors and weathers and ages like natural wood, and the oil protects it. Unfortunately our floor is covered with oily spotty marks within a year of having it installed. I've spent a long time washing it with the very expensive specialist french wood floor cleaner they recommended but nothing works, so the floor just always looks dirty and unwashed. It's heartbreaking, because it makes me really miss the lacquered floor of our old home that was a bit scuffed in places but where mess could just be mopped up. This brushed oil floor is much more stressful to live with because we're constantly trying to protect it from any dropped food, otherwise we get left with permanent oily marks within seconds of the tiny bit of scrambled egg landing, for example. It marks so quickly that the only solution is to put mats down and cover up the floor! It's honestly ridiculous to claim it's hard wearing. It is completely unsuitable for family life sadly. Beautiful but completely impractical. Lacquered wood for us every time from now on.

Really happy with the excellent service received. Wasn't sure what flooring I wanted to get, but after speaking with one of the colleagues who had great product knowledge, I was happy with the quality and price, and my new floor looks great.

This post would have been a glowing 5 Stars if it wasn't for the last, final experience with the shop. The floor we chose is very good, looks great, etc. but the appalling behaviour of the man behind the counter to my wife is unforgivable. A series of dunno" answers and a can't be bothered attitude to check something for her (that we had bought already)

Ive used jordens for flooring for around 10 years. As well as recommend to lots of people. I usually fit the floors myself, just getting the flooring delivered. but a recent back injury means I can't fit anymore. I ordered vinyl click flooring. After it was layed I wasn't happy. When I called I was told I had to deal with the fitter. I did and fair play he came on a sunday. It's still not 100% but everything is on a schedule and other trades have to come in as does my elderly client. I've now found out they have stopped fitting it and have told me they have only fitted it once. The area manager was ment to call me. I've been waiting 2 weeks ,!!I went in today and the guy in the store just walked off and said whatever??! That's great! after all the money I've spent over the years. The usual guy I use there is Lee. He's a top bloke and has always been helpful. But I would definitely not use or reccomend again.

I have to say we have excellent shopping experiences with this company.We went to the store. As soon as we arrived the shop assistant named John walked us around and answered our questions regarding the floor. He was very polite and professional. We knew what we wanted and he clearly accepted our choice.We ordered a floor. Since it is a bespoke made floor we had to wait for 4 weeks.After this time John contacted us and we arranged the delivery.When the delivery arrived two men crew brought packet by packet to my living room and gently put it one on the top of the other one.My husband installed floor and it is amazing. I can only recommend this store to everybody.So for me it is excellent service, great experiences and floor is outstanding great quality and colour. Exactly what we wanted.

We had excellent advice and service from Lee at Wimbledon Branch and a two day delivery slot. Delivery was promised before 9 am but was rescheduled for after 2pm which was fine. However, the driver made no effort to help my builder unload or carry the wood flooring and was offhand, on his phone. I had 4 deliveries that day and he was the only driver who didn't help yet this was the only company that charged for delivery (£40) and the one I had spent the most money with (almost 2 grand).

Enjoyed our experience here - decent prices and friendly welcoming staff, with special mention to John who took time to answer all of our questions and provide us with great advice.

I know what the reviews mean about the rude person. I had had a quote a while back and called up to clarify method of fitting (they’d insisted on underlay as method and didn’t mention ply - everyone else that quoted recommended ply, so I wanted clarification and find out if they’d do ply).I said I was confused - Person that answered very rude and patronising- ‘no it’s not confusing - I’ve been doing this 35 year etc etc.I’m looking to spend thousands this week on flooring and why would I follow up with them when that’s the attitude?!

we used Jordans woof floor recently for the renovation of our kitchen, hallway and dining room. We had herringbone flooring put throughout. The product and service was amazing and couldn't commend them highly enough. Wayne was a brilliant communicator and if every supplier was as prompt and punctual at responding like Wayne, then building/renovating work would be easy! Wayne was always a phone call away and if he didn't respond immediately to your email, he would definitely respond within the day.Overall great products ( much cheaper than other quotes we received) and great customer service. Be crazy to use anybody else!
