First time customer for Carnalls, booked in my MOT, sorted my dodgy tyres first, and car sailed through very quick, one trivial thing they fixed & charged minimally for, £46 and 3 hours, yes! Will totally return in future. Thanks!

Fantastic company. Found it very hard to get our tuktuk serviced as it's an unusual vehicle. Carnalls were very quick to help, and even helped load/unload it from the van. Lovely family business and would thoroughly recommend, thanks for the service!

Carnalls did my MOT and provided fantastic service. When they found something that needed addressing they rang me and attempted to fix it the same day but it wasnt possible. They showed me where the oil leak was and explained everything they would do - so I knew the whole time what was going on and why it was required. When it had to go back to be fixed at a later date they even gave me a courtesy car for the time it was in. I cannot fault Carnalls at all, lovely service, really reasonably priced and great work! I'll be back for any further MOTs or issues with my car.

Had an intermittent electrical fault with my car for over a year. Had many other mechanics take a look and try and fix it but none successful. Eventually it was looking terminal but Mark did a great job at working out the issue and resolved it for a very reasonable price. Great customer service too!

Really great garage and lovely friendly staff, took my car for MOT and it needed quite a bit of work, Mark kept in touch and kept me updated throughout, he worked on it most of the day for me to get it done so I could have it back for work the next day. Once all done my tracking still wasn’t quite right so he stayed open for me to get to them after I finished work and literally sorted it the same evening.Car now back up and running smooth as ever Thankyou Mark

Used Carnall Autos many times previously thought they were good sadly opinion has changed. Recent front suspension investigations and numerous parts replaced cost around £700 cured nothing. Also engine misfire inspection and numerous parts replaced £400 cured nothing also charged me £50 to plug a lap top in to help diagnose the fault?? Spoke to Mark he is rude arrogant and patronising, I was never given an estimate just an unexpected bill when work wasn't authorised.I took my car to an LPG Specialist in Huddersfield took him less than five minutes to diagnose the misfire and the inspection and lap top plug in was free of charge. Update: Now repaired by GAS Autos no misfire two faulty LPG injectors replaced (contaminated LPG nationwide)

Have used Carnell's for past 2-3 years for both my cars and generally good experience however the most recent one has been very disappointing. Took car in for a full service, MOT and this included 4 new tyres. The following day an error light popped up to suggest damaged sensor. Took the car back, was looked at and confirmed that it needed replacing. This was done promptly however was charged £150 for this. Was told in no uncertain terms that this was completely unrelated to the tyre replacements. Now I'm no mechanic and am completely at the mercy of the experts, but a simple google will say that by far the most common cause of the sensor damage is incorrect tyre replacement, and I can't help but feel the timing is incredibly coincidental. Whole experience left a very sour and disappointing taste, and can't help but feel like the chains or bigger centres would have accepted fault. 2 stars as previously no issues, and generally I would much rather use local small businesses but please use caution. I certainly won't be returning, which is a real shame.

Great friendly local garage. They always keep me updated with what's going on with the car and have always relieved excellent service.
