Such a shame that you book due to recommendation, your stylist leaves, you book but stylist to be allocated, same doesn’t do as you wanted and only works Saturdays and is self employed. Any issues have to be rectified by them . You can have someone else sort it but will incure another cost . So the service is only covered by employed stylists. Needs to be made clear when bookingResponse- had you sent me the following reply to my first or even second email I would have accepted your offer - sadly too late as have sought better customer service elsewhere

RESPONSEFirstly, a very common ‘excuse’ our account was hacked. Funny that friends could see your Facebook page but both myself and my daughter couldn’t.Yes my daughter came on Thursday 14th September for her hair doing and I messaged the day after to advise she wasn’t happy and asked for someone to call me. I left a voicemail also. We were both very polite and I got a message back a few hours later to say you were closed and you would ring me Saturday first thing.Someone from the salon rang me at 830am to say if she goes in now you could put a toner on it. A toner wouldn’t have rectified the problem and we were due to leave for the airport soon so didn’t have time as what was needed would have needed a few hours at least. I explained this and she said she would be happy to sort on our return.My daughter contacted you again on our return from holiday and after some discussion she was offered an all over colour (this was requested to cover up the mess she had been left with) for £60 so clearly not even a discounted rate. I would had expected this to be done free or at least at cost price. My daughter reluctantly accepted this because she just wanted to go back brown as she was so unhappy with what her hair looked like.No one has seen her hair or asked for photos, she has 1 inch blonde/ginger stripes all over the top of her head it is not what she wanted and looks awful to be frank!No one had threatened anyone personally she threatened to leave a bad review if you didn’t rectify the situation. Where was the phone call from the owner to ask what you could do to rectify the error and apologies! This didn’t happen and because you blocked us she felt she had no alternate but to message a stylist directly.When you don’t get an adequate response then someone who has spent hundreds of pounds in your salon they are going to become frustrated. My daughter is only 18 and this has been her first hair experience. She also has autism so struggles with her communication when things are unfair. She was extremely polite but when she wasn’t getting a resolution she became frustrated and angry. This situation should have been handled more professionally from yourself (the owner) and as no one has even seen her hair you have no idea how bad it is. She asked for balayage and got stripes like something out of the spice girls.She then asked for a refund following your awful texts you sent her and gave you her bank details…..no refund received. She was not offered another appointment and this is why she messaged again and realised she had been blocked.Your stylist made an awful mess of my daughters hair and if you were professional owners you would want your customers to be happy. If you had seen her hair I am sure you would have been ashamed of what your stylist had done!1. Understand your legal rightsThe Consumer Rights Act 2015 (England and Wales) says:* If a service was not provided with reasonable care and skill or as agreed, the service provider must put things right within a reasonable time and at their own cost.* If this isn’t practical, you should get some or all of your money back within 14 days of agreeing to a refund.Looks like we will have to put this behind us as you clearly don’t care!……..Hannah made a mess of my daughters hair. I messaged and my daughter messaged on Facebook and no offer to rectify the problem apart from another member of staff offering to do it again at full charge. She agreed to this reluctantly as she wanted it sorting but then waited a week for an appointment offer and when she’s messaged to ask why they hadn’t come back to her we realised we had both been blocked! Absolutely appalling service and care. If the owner would like to unblock me and message me with a resolution then I may consider removing this review.

Erin at Ash is sublime. She recently did my wedding hair and all of my bridesmaids and did a wonderful job. She is incredibly talented and I knew we were in safe hands from day one. Not only are her hairdressing skills superb but her calm and caring nature made me feel very at ease on my wedding morning. I can't thank her enough.

Andrew, Adam and the team are polite, friendly and welcoming. The new salon is gorgeous and immaculately clean. I am so pleased with my hair: the colour, the cut and the finish. I always feel fabulous when I leave!

I ordered a consultation with Adam online, I got there a little earlier , and he ( Adam - I recognized him from the photo ) was not pleasant , I had the feeling that I was not welcome , finally they told me he was busy . another hairdresser took of me , since I had my hair colored several times by incompetent hairdressers, I agreed to cut off a strand of my hair , we agreed that he would send me an email about how the bleaching of the hair strand turned out . a few days passed and she didn't hear back . if you weren't interested in doing my hair, you should have told me straight up! another incompetent unprofessional hair salon .they have 20 years of experiencebut when they see long hair they put their hands away ..they only had customers with short hair, and of course the grandmothers could not be absent with their two short hairs on their headsincompetent gays , they only make embarrassing videos .I do not recommend drinking anything from their cups . dirty nasty receptionist , purity means nothing to them . disgustingly dirty hair salon .

I felt the need to write my review after reading the poorly written one by someone who really has no idea!I've visited Ash before & today was my 3rd visit.Unfortunately my previous hairdresser had moved on but i didn't want to leave the salon. After watching them work on previous visits I decided that I'd like either Adam or Andrew to look after my hair.I am not disappointed that I had to wait 6 weeks to get a booking. Today Adam has worked a miracle.I had in mind what I wanted both colour & cut, the time he took to go through my pictures & discuss put me instantly at ease. My appointment was scheduled to take 90 minutes.I was there for 5 hours & that was simply due to Adams persistence & to wait for the colour to be just right. I could not have been made to feel more welcome, not just by Adam, Lauren stepped in so they could work around other appointments.Over & above is the only way I can describe today's visit & the end result.Thank you guys.Oh & the coffee...& the cups were great, the place was spotless & ALL the staff were lovely.
