Past experience with this company was good. I have recently contacted asking for a quote for a conservatory roof and replacement windows. Turned up late for survey. Had to chase quote. I cancelled roof but still wanted windows but had to chase again. Had a phone call today to say there's a shortage of glass so they can't do the job. Very unprofessional would never use again.

We had 2 bays and 1 dormer fitted in a 4 storey old house with slight access problems. The installers arrived promptly and worked without any unnecessary disturbance. The windows are good quality and we are pleased with the result. We would recommend this firm.

Pedmore Windows have just fitted all of our windows on the front of the house, new back and front doors. We had a very slight issue with some colour shade difference on the two front bay windows. However, as soon as we pointed this out, the team went above and beyond toPut the problem right. The finish on the doors and windows is second to none. Danny the fitter is superb, and his workmanship and finish is above and beyond. Even working with a painful and injured shoulder. Yes little hiccups along the way, but nothing too much trouble to correct. I can highly recommend

Excellent quality windows using Rehau PVC which has a good reputation in the industry. We needed lintels fitting and after all of the work was completed the rendering, brickwork and internal decor was returned to an almost perfect condition. Very happy with the whole experience.

Buying new windows isn’t easy, We had several quotes, from local companies who came along and performed their sales pitch some in their words offered us a “heavy discount”. What we liked about Pedmore Windows was the simplicity, a quote, advice, no need to reduce the figure, just simple and straightforward. Pedmore Windows are cheaper however the quality of the windows are superb. Carl listened to us, made recommendations as to what we needed from a building regulation point of view, but had your interests at heart. He pointed out being a 1930’s house there would not be any lintels above the original window frames. What was worrying is that some companies told us not to bother putting lintels in. Working in the property industry I asked a few surveyor mates and they all pointed out the same, lintels would be needed. We found Pedmore windows to be honest in what they said, no hidden costs and a start date given a few months in advance. We went against the usual Anthracite Grey that everyone seems to be having and chose the Elephant Grey colour. Not many houses in the area have this colour, so we knew it was going to be a gamble. Luke surveyed our property and was very professional making sure we were happy with everything. Work started on time, we had Dan the window fitter who we found to be friendly, having a great personality, work ethic and nothing was too much trouble and was always there to answer questions. He explained what he was going to do and when he was going to do it, tidied up and left no mess. All in all, very happy clients. Everyone from Carol, Luke, Carl and Dan made the whole process so less stressful and the windows look fantastic. Mr and Mrs Rhead, Kinver

I take no pleasure in leaving a negative review here, but my partner and I have been ripped off for over 2k by this company and are now left stuck with a product that’s not fit for purpose. All we can do now is share our experience. We hope that others can learn from it and find someone out there who’s at least competent and trustworthy – not at all like Pedmore Windows.We bought bi-fold doors from them a couple of years ago and they installed them. We had a couple of perhaps understandable teething problems in the months afterwards, with the door often not locking properly and they twice sent people out to fix it. Each time they reckoned it was because the doors had dropped slightly in the frame and although they couldn’t rectify the problem completely, did their best to fix it in the short term.The third and last time though (a couple of months ago) they sent out one of their lads who pointed out that one of the door sections had bowed and this was very probably down to the way the product itself had been assembled or by being incorrectly installed – he thought it had been like this since day one.The guy (Matthew) was really nice and spent a long time trying to fix it, but in the end said he felt he was ‘in the middle’. He said that he could see the door wasn’t right and he wouldn’t be happy if someone had tried to sell him something shoddy like this. But he said at the same time, in his experience, the boss man (Karl) would just walk away and say that ‘he was a businessman’. Basically, ‘we’ve had their money now and the warranty’s nearly done, so it’s not my problem’. Matthew said he felt very uncomfortable about it.This is exactly what they’ve done. We had to chase them up for an answer. They initially said they’d had a discussion about the door and were talking of sending someone out who would definitely know how to fix it – but then they rang to say they weren’t coming and there was nothing more they would do.The only ‘advice’ they could give us now was to keep the door shut and hope that ‘when warmer weather came it would bow back’. We asked how long they recommended. A week? A month? Three to four years? How long, but Carl said (talking through his secretary) he didn’t know.We even asked them if we could we actually pay for a new section to be fitted or if they could recommend someone who would be competent and skilled enough to fix it – and the answer was the same ‘Er – we don’t know’. They really couldn’t have cared less.We’re not rich, we worked hard and saved up over time to pay for the doors, but now, with the weather getting warmer, we’re stuck with a huge door that we can’t use- and a permanent reminder of how we’ve been ripped off by people we trusted.The secretary at Pedmore is very pleasant, but obviously very skilled by now at mugging off chumps like us who’ve been cheated out of a lot of money. Honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised to see them turn up on Rogue Traders or similar very soon.16/03/2019In reply to the owner’s reply below.The engineer identified that the product was substandard and had been since assembly and/or installation. He also said that in his experience, you would just walk away from the problem – which is what you did.Your ‘advice’ on the matter was to keep the door shut from now on - pretty much like buying an expensive car, finding it faulty and then being told your solution to this is for us not to drive it. Doh!We are currently trying to find someone competent and honest to rectify the problems you have caused us.
