This company is a scam. Employed this company to build a brick porch which consisted of foundations, brick both sides, a glass front and a pitch slate roof. They advised planning permission was not needed and building control not needed. Half way through the build, planning was in fact needed and the current build was done by 2 window fitters who did not have a clue about building regs. The entire porch which was built was done wrong. The company came back and took down the build and left all materials in my garden and now are ignoring my calls and emails. This has been going on for 4 months. They get your money and run. Do not give this company any money up front. Almost £6000 out of pocket and I have a reckon of a garden and nothing to show for my money. Now needing to go legal with this which is such a hassle.

A brilliant company that offered the most amazing service.Smart Homes are staffed by well informed and talented artisans... They were skilled in the task of building a bespoke conservatory but most of all - from the person who gave us the quote to the man building the final step in front of our beautiful conservatory; every single one of them CARED. They demonstrated a genuine concern for both my husband and myself. Our Happiness and safety was their main concern. Thank you to a fantastic company. Money very well spent.

Once deciding on a new front door with side panels the company went over and above to provide exactly what we wanted even though it wasn't exacy out of any brochure. They checked in with us regularly covering all the bases. The fitters came when they said they would and did a very professional job installing the door and side panels. I had a bedroom window supplied and fitted. The two window fitters did a great job and left the room clean and tidy. I am pleased with the result.

I would like to say that I have seen many windows in UK at my friend's house and I am very pleased with the way it was done by Smart Homes! The sales guy was very open and honest with us about all costs,and tried his best to find us the best deal.We couldn't be happier with the installation,very high level professional work,and the fitters cleaned all after they finish!I must admit I highly recommend smart homes as it's definitely excellent professional work and quality for the money!Mrs & Mr Banda

We were getting a window fitted. The fitters were very good and did a good job. They were amicable and friendly.However, what was disappointing is I had to ring the manager to complain. We had a missed call from the company about confirming the fitting and they sent a gentleman round to see if this was acceptable. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to learn that he decided before knocking the door/ringing the doorbell to sculk around in the dark down the side of the house without us being aware as though he was sizing something up, whether it be trying to squeeze more money out of us or planning something sinister for someone.When challenged/quizzed by our neighbour, ( family member), he proceeded to be extremely arrogant and defensive towards them. This is very unprofessional.Whilst we accept that he may have meant no malice towards them, this is a very unprofessional way to speak and when I contacted the manager he carried the exact same tone.Considering we have vulnerable old aged adults living with us it is extremely disappointing that he did not consider what he may look like and that it is certainly NOT appropriate to trespass with us having no knowledge of him being there until knocking on the door after being so nosy and suspicious.Whilst we are happy with the job, we will not be dealing with this company in future, as to avoid situations like the multitude of poor reviews here and an apparent bad attitude throughout the salespeople, but also the prices are pretty ridiculous.

Had windows replaced in living room, kitchen also front door and double patio doors replaced, items are very good quality, fitters were very experienced and knew their job which is very refreshing to find today, when they left after the job the area was left spotlessly clean. We will definitely use this company again if we have anymore windows we need done. I would recommend them to anybody.

I received a cold call asking if I wanted a no obligation quote. As I was thinking about changing a couple of windows I agreed and an appointment was arranged for the following morning at 10am. At 10.08 I received a call telling me that they would be half an hour late. I agreed to this stating that I was going out later in the morning. At 11.25, as I was needing to ready myself for another appointment, I called Smart to cancel the appointment just as the sales man finally arrived. I told them I was needing to go out and the gentleman who introduced himself as one of the managers asked if he could call me on Monday to give them another chance to quote. I agreed. Six days later I have yet to hear from them. I think it fair to say that they have blown their opportunity. Advice to others? If you want reliability from a company who keep their promises, try anyone other than Smart.

Great all round customer service from start to finish. Whole experience was quick, simple and the smart homes team were always on standby to help me further anytime I had questions. Would highly recommend

Absolutely brilliant company couldn’t be happier. Got a tiled conservatory roof fitted and the difference is outstanding. Can’t even here the rain coming down anymore. From when the lad came to my door to the fitters at the end all fantastic. Definitely going to get my windows and doors done very soon. Highly recommend make sure you check this company out.
