Can't recommend Castle Street enough, All the staff are so kind and helpful. Thankyou Aaron for looking after me the last year whilst I had a detached retina. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Aaron and his team. I would highly recommend them

I randomly came across this optometrists a few months ago as I was having problems with bright lights and severe headaches. From the moment I walked in the door the staff have been absolutely fantastic. Aaron has been so helpful in sourcing types of contact lenses to suit my need and without his help I would undoubtedly still be suffering today. I wholeheartedly recommend Castle Street Optometry.

Good understanding people who will walk you through any problems with your glasses regardless of where you bought them and they will be more than happy to make as many adjustments as are needed. They provide trial periods for you to assess the glasses and if they are not right, they will make them right.The selection of frames are great too, unlike other opticians who seem to have only variations of the same rectangular style. They definitely have a frame which will suit your face and when picked, the lenses of your choice will be in them within a week, be it tinted, transitions, bifocal, whatever you want.They are also specialists with contact lenses and they can provide whichever ones you want. Other opticians have limited options.They deserve the 5 star rating I am giving them and anybody who has used their service properly will confirm this. You cannot go wrong with Castle Street Optometry.I say 'properly' in the previous paragraph because anybody being negative about them have not informed Castle Street Optometry about problems they had. If they did those problems would have been hit head on and fast and resolved. Obviously it is unreasonable to complain about a great optician without first giving them a chance to address any dissatisfaction.

I have always had a first rate service from this opticians. Very thorough clinical exams and sensible advice. I had concerns recently with a sudden deterioration of my normally near perfect vision once corrected with contacts. I was seen really promptly and another very thorough check and given reassurance that the change is due to prescribed medication and hopefully will sort itself without a new set of lenses.I wasn't charged a bean for this extra unscheduled appointment even though I was very happy to pay for the peace of mind it gave me.Many thanks for your care and attention. I will be staying with this practice.

After having less than mediocre service and selection from other opticians nearby, I was THRILLED to have found Castle Street Optometry. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and really provided exceptional customer care from start to finish. Very happy customer.

Can't recommend Castle Street Optometry highly enough.. We had a spectacle emergency as my son had dropped his only pair of glasses in a deep fat fryer! The staff were really helpful, patient and informative, they worked really speedily to provide him with a replacement pair. Nothing was too much trouble - Brilliant!

I came in on a whim, being a usual customer of another opticians around the corner. Knowing the frame I wanted, the member of staff who served me was prompt, knowledgeable and personable. I will definitely be returning in future!

I had been wearing the same contact lenses for years, I saw Aaron just over a year ago for the first time and described my use and comfort with the ones I wore then and how I was reasonably satisfied with them. Aaron suggested I started wearing different ones. When I trialled them I found that they were much more comfortable than those I was wearing before. Now I forget that I wear contact lenses and they are at a good monthly price too!They also have a great collection of sunglasses , I got a lovely pair of Gucci's from Castle Street that I'm incredibly happy with and get a lot of admiring looks and comments. I need to get some glasses soon, so I will be sure to visit them for this too as the team have always given excellent service and advice when I pop in.Two thumbs up from me!!!
