It has been an honor to meet Ian Bennett in his Millinery Studio.Ian is an incredible person and amazing hat maker teacher as in few days I learnt a lot about millinery; I was enjoying so much building hats that the time went very quickly and now I will encourage to everybody to wear a hat. So proud to spent these days with Ian Bennett, thank you!

Ian has been teaching me Millinery through my Scholarship with QEST and it has been absolutely amazing. He has such in depth knowledge of hat making, dyeing, block carving and is incredibly generous and patient at teaching so you go away with all the skills you need to flourish in your own hat making journey. I have just spent an amazing 3 days with Ian for millinery tutoring - it far exceeded my high expectations and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone interested in millinery. Ian shared his extensive experience and skills generously with clear demonstrations and explanations of the whys and hows. Ian was very patient and made the sessions friendly, fun and informative on all aspects of the millinery world. I’m delighted and proud of the headpieces Ian taught me how to create and can’t wait to wear them on the occasions I’ve made them for.
