Comfy beds and clean toilet and shower. Sean, the owner, was 1st class. Very polite, helpful, friendly and knowledgable about the local area. Cant fault it for the price.

Just 5 mins walk from this coastal view. Great accommodation at a great price. Nicely furnished and maintaied. Good seafood bar almost next door. Lots a fantastic hills in each direction

Perfect no frills accommodation, clean rooms, comfortable bunks (with sheet & pillow - take your own sleeping bag) the hosts were very friendly & accommodating. There is use of the kitchen facilities & WiFi. There is a Fish restraunt next door (which we didn't try) & a pub about 4-5miles away in Lochcarron (which serves very good food, but is fairly expensive - £7.85 for a sweet!) We will very likely use this bunkhouse again, couldn't fault it at all to be honest.

Really nice Bunkhouse. Warning if you are cycling or motorcycling, there is a large gravel ditch" in the drive as you come in. Aside from that house is nice and clean

Superb location along the North Coast 500. Excellent hosts Ian & Sue made me most welcome at this cosy bunkhouse. Although no shops (very) nearby, host Sue even cooked me a delicious meal! If you're wanting a good old fashioned Scottish welcome, and prepared for a 'no frills' stay, this is your place. Picky and need pampering? - move on! I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay here and would recommend Sanquhar bunkhouse to anyone...

This is not really a bunkhouse. A young couple ( however charming) moving their furniture into a room but retaining the use of the bathroom and kitchen - which are only the size of a normal family accomodation is not really acceptable. To then attempt to cram eight beds into a normal sized bedroom ( and do this twice) and claim you have accomodation for sixteen people should not really be allowed. There is no room for walking gear in the bedrooms and no room to cook in the kitchen. No table for more than six people to eat in the livingroom and only one shower available.

Excellent bunkhouse. Hosts Sophie and Sean were lovely and so knowledgable about the area, particularly from a walking/cycling point of view. We stayed 2 nights. A quiet rural community with the stunning views over to the Applecross pass. Comfortable living room and kitchen to share, and comfortable bunks.

Hosted a group of 12 of us for a week over new year's.We all had a great time. Lovely bunkhouse, and a lovely area for hiking :)

This was great value for money and Sean was a wonderful host.I would advise using the Hostel name rather than post code when entering it on Google maps.I stayed on my own in a shared bunk bed room as it is off season so certainly felt luxurious.The facilities were great as well including off road parking and a very good shower.I will definitely stay again if I plan to redo Nc500.
