We absolutely loved our stay in High Pike barn - such a cosy, well decorated space with everything we needed for our holiday. The cooking facilities worked really well, with plenty of space and handy dishwasher. The log burner was also fabulous and warmed up the barn after a long day out on the fells.One of the best aspects of the barn is its location in Caldbeck - we've spent a lot of time in the Lakes, and Caldbeck is now definitely one of our favourite villages. Beautiful walks from the door (whether it's out into the Northern Fells or just to the nearby waterfalls), great pub, and the excellent 24/7 milkshake station /vending machine at the dairy. We can't wait to return!
