Heckmondwike Driving Test Centre
Had my first test a few months ago with Trevor. He was abrupt and awful from the very beginning. Arrogant, overly harsh, seemed to thrive in making an already very nervous participant even more nervous. When giving feedback after the test, he almost tried embarrassing me and making me feel stupid, laughing nastily at mistakes I made. I can’t speak for the others, but I hope no one has the displeasure of taking their test with this nasty man, especially if it’s their first time round!

Heckmondwike Driving Test Centre
The examiner had a very heavy accent in English, and although I had stressed to him to speak slowly, he gave me instructions in a very vague pronunciation. He never repeated the command a second time when I didn't hear him and asked him about it. His attitude was very bad, and he tried to cancel my exam directly. You know, this is a driving test, not a language test.

Fabulous test centre , I got a cancellation and my daughter took her test in her own car. Mick was a lovely examiner , friendly and professional, he made my daughter feel at ease. I would recommend this test centre. 2nd time pass for her too !

Heckmondwike Driving Test Centre
Today I was examined by Marie who instantly made me feel at ease with her calm and kind way of speaking. She quizzed me on everything you would expect and her professionalism is top tier.At the end of my test, Marie told me I had passed and pointed out my fault - needless to say I was stoked even if my nerves were fried!To any new driver - just relax, take your time and try not to overthink it all! Thanks Heckmondwike Team!

Heckmondwike Driving Test Centre
I had the same examiner during my tests and he was rude and made me feel uncomfortable.Also, it’s difficult to rebook a driving test here. Every time I try, it says there are no available test dates at this test centre. Very inconvenient.Need to hire more staff so people can actually take their driving test here!

White haired woman with glasses at this test centre always unfairly fails you. Really rude and arrogant lady. Needs reporting and sacking, spoken to several instructors around the area all said the same thing. Passed in 2nd attempt1st time it was Simon, don't know why was he so irritated, failed me for a silly mistake and kept mocking all the time during the test.2nd time Marie, I think the more I thank her the less it will be. She had an absolutely beautiful behavior. DVSA needs to acknowledge that she managed all the tests singlehandedly today as there was no other examiner available. She felt like an instructor rather than examiner and kept guiding me on turns and everything and literally held me confident even when I made errors. Hats off lady, you are an example of what an examiner should be like.
