I have been to Sewing Space a number of times for courses, including a bag making course and a Festive sewing session - Amanda is a great teacher and it's a lovely, relaxing atmosphere to go and sew. Thoroughly recommend.

I was lucky to come into contact with Amanda when passing as my friend who lives local said she had bought a DuvetCover and it only had a small slit and no fastenings so l called to see Amanda told herabout it and she said she would open it up and put poppers on . Which she did and can we both say what a lovely professional jobwe will both recommend her to all our friendsand be back when we want anything else doing. Thanks Amanda

I was recommend by a friend to use Amanda to alter my daughter wedding dress. She had a fitting and Amanda took a few notes on what need changing and then called us back two weeks later with all the alterations done to a fantastic standard. It looks like the wedding dress was made for her and not bought off the peg. She came up with some great ideas and she made the whole process very relaxing and we had total confidence in her ability. Amanda altered my daughters prom dress so that an off the peg item fit her perfectly. She looked gorgeous and the changes to the dress gave her the confidence to shine" on her special day. Highly recommended

Amazing service!I rang this lovely lady amanda today from a recommendation, i had to purchase a new wedding dress with 2 days to go until my big day it needed some small alterations to the shoulders, i took it here and within a few hours it was all done and ready to go. I couldnt recommend her enough, thankyou soo much!

Well and truly stiched up!!!!!!Well what can i say, i could not leave any lower than 1 star, started off with some simple alterations, this did not work but i still got charged but then offered another alteration of couse i would have to pay again, when this did not work after i payed twice , the offer to make me a wedding dress was given to me, as time was running out as getting married in a matter of weeks, i had taken up this offer only to be disappointed once again, when i informed Amanda she asked me to drop off the dress and give my bank details, i did this and managed to get a perfect dress form a reputable dress maker, now Sewing space has the dress and is refusing to give me my money back....... Dont take a chance, go some where else who has made wedding dresses in the past.
