Poor customer service phone line which does not answer ANY 3 selects available options despite seeming to suggest via one option, there is someone that will answer but ultimately disconnecting call like others did to begin. Perhaps you should remove customer service from offering as at best, it’s limited.From a recent visit to Riley’s Solihull as a party of 3 with disability’s, I was informed my student membership may no longer exist and quite rightly the presented card I presented wasn’t eligible due to an expiry date elapsing. I was aware a friend (whom was a non member) had a relatively new student card and suggested to him in what I would deem midst of panic, consciously aware the venue may close in next few hours and having Riley’s staff want to proceed, that he could sign up to quality for the rate another friend with autism ultimately paid. It was suggested by Riley’s staff words to the effect of he could not sign up that evening (which I personally found pathetic) and I felt like it was being suggested the higher table rate should just be paid. I voiced my dissatisfaction and around that point a Riley’s staff possibly did attempt to assist friend signing up by phone as around this time it was suggested it may be too late if we don’t get something soon (to which I didn’t necessarily agree with). I believe there may of being an issue with internet connection but I was initially unhappy it was suggested words to the effect of, let’s just proceed (without discount) on the back of having my student card rightfully declined yet not showing this same stance trying to get an ELIGABLE card holder signed up who has a motor function disability and to cut a long story short ultimately being happy to take a higher payment, in full knowledge amongst another perhaps senior colleague that their was an Eligible student card holder who should but didn’t (because of perhaps lack go reasonable adjustment by venue who bad access to Riley’s systems we didn’t) of qualified for a discount that an autistic party member ultimately paid despite my best efforts to want to see the transaction proceed fairly. Riley’s customer service, if it were deemed good anyway seems to have gone downhill, but apart from that things did seem ok.
