Palmers have been outstanding. Layla and her team have been brilliant. It’s hard to find a decent conveyancing firm that respond to emails/phone calls as they all seem to be taking on to much work and don’t ever respond. Layla on the other hand responded to every email and call without fail. I would highly recommend using this company.

Palmers Solicitors in Grays, Essex is best avoided. They had the severe inability to keep me informed with the progress or 'lack of progress' of my house sale. They were rude and very unhelpful with my situation as I work overseas. They paid the wrong redemption figure for the remainder of my mortgage making it my business to claim back. They also paid my estate agent fee even though I stated I was handling this which in turn meant the estate agent got paid twice. To conclude in my experience very unprofessional and this practice is best avoided.

Very pleased and impressed with Layla Clarke looking after my first time property purchase, she is an absolute credit to the business, kept me informed and on top of things even when things got challenging like issues with flooding and defects in the lease/ varitions of the deed, I will 100% recommend Palmers, cannot fault them. What an embarrassment of a company.Was quoted a price for my house sale and was told this will 100% be the final quote no hidden costs. Upon receiving my final bill, there was hidden costs.Our solictor also nearly underpaid us from our house sale with an error of £10,000 on our completion statement.Upon Palmers receiving the monies for my house sale, oursolictor was responsible for paying the service charge and this has been deducted from my final statement. 8 weeks later I've found out Palmers have taken the money from me but not paid the service charge. IVery poor communication, chasing on email and telephone. No thinking outside the box and your end up doing their job for them.To many errors and incorrect legal adviceNever again
