You have to pay to drive along the road but it's worth it.Didn't see any otters but the waterfall was beautiful and well worth the £3 you pay to drive down it.Only thing I would say is the road can be very bumpy and uneven in some places.

Absolutely stunning place in an amazing park in Scotland. One of the most beautiful rivers I have ever seen - peaceful water, lovely surroundings and a great place to camp. There is a toilet block but no separate running water. You can during the day but not overnight so we hiked to the site.

No otters today! Too many campers. I have to admit it looks a great place to camp; I'm envious. There were a few families paddling in the water and sitting at the banks.I sat for a while using Merlin to identify the birds. It only heard Gold Crests, but it sounded like there were a lot of them. It's a beautiful place, seems well maintained. I hope to go back early on a week day to hopefully actually see an otter.

Wish I had known about this place when the children were small. This is way down “The Raiders Road”, a well maintained forestry track- bike or cars with good ground clearance essential. Swimming or more realistically splashing about in shallow river pools that are Very slippy. Picnic tables are available but bring your own grub and refreshments.

This place is nice. And it's definitely worth the horrendous drive to the main attraction. The road is pretty bad, but if you go slow you should be fine. There aren't actually any otters here so just be aware of that. Great place for a day out. Toilets available. Parking is a bit confusing though. Says you need to pay but there's no signal anywhere.

Well worth the short drive down the Raiders forest road. £3. Toilets and parking and a some fantastic scenery. The kids will love paddling in the pools.

An area of outstanding natural beauty.A fantastic place to visit for the day, ( in hot weather). Picnic tables dotted around the area. The water is safe to swim in, ( Summer time, not winter).
