Chap named Carl helped me sort some Blocks and other bits for an extension we're doing. Prices were reasonable, Carl was very approachable and friendly. Will be coming back here again for certain.

Nice and easy to get what you need. Friendly and helpful, sometimes out of stock but reliable place.

Really friendly, helpful staff. Site a bit confusing on a first-time visit but staff pointed you right. Seem to have a good range of everything.

Very poor!!! ordered materials a week ago for delivery today ,ready for builders to start tomorrow only to be told cant deliver until Wednesday, had to cancel builders and job, poor excuse given by transport department with them not realizing my experience within the logistics industry, word of advise to buildbase dont lie to customers ""

Reasonable building suppliers. They do seem to have most things you would need. Service at the counter is very slow especially if there is a queue. They are quite expensive. You can get pretty much the same stuff at B&Q cheaper.

Got 4 stars because Keith in the wood shop was so helpful, Buildbase, you need to keep staff like him.Most recent visit still the same, most staff seem to be more interested in chatting amongst themselves rather than helping customers.

I called on Friday 9th September explained that I lost my invoice for the floor board I purchased, so I asked the guy on the phone can I bring back my floor board which originally I bought 11 I used 10 of them the guy on the phone told me bring the one left back they gonna sort something out ,when I went today 13th September they refused to make a refund or credit note , and waste my time and effort going there , as I know most of the guys in Buildbase also I’m sure they know me as I build 2 new 5 bedroom house bought most of material from build base ,and I can imagine how much I spent past three years with Buildbase , I didn’t like the fact they told me on the phone bring the board back and when I’m there refused to refund me , they definitely lost a customer over £21 board I’m not going back there ever again . I also only noticed last few months that depends who’s serving you on the a-counter they can over charge customer double on some stuff .my advice for people shop around don’t just buy stuff from build base as maybe they over charge you .

I have ordered gravel, cement and brick block to deliver today am service. I again rang yesterday to confirm and they said to be delivered in between 10 am to 11 am.Then I have booked mini mix with Causin store and paid £25.00. My worker were waiting to be delivered so that they can start to work but now it's 2.pm still no sign of delivery.I have rang twice since this morning, they only know how to apologies but doing nothing so far.I think this company is not looking after the customer at all and just know how to take money only.If there is any sensible management, please open the eyes....God bless them.
