Wellshurst Golf

My mum’s wake was held at Wellshurst on 3rd May & I can’t thank Sarah & her team enough for their kindness & attention to detail in helping to make a very difficult day a great deal easier. Sarah could not have done more to help & everyone thought the food was beautiful. The room was perfect, the view lovely & parking was easy. Nothing was too much trouble & I would highly recommend the venue to anyone.Karen Harrity

Had our golf society day at Wellshurst yesterday- everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food provided was really good, good range of drinks and very clean. Sarah Cole was very helpful and accommodating. Only gave 4 stars as the buggy cost wasn’t negotiable and one or two greens were a bit ropey. Would happily go here again

I've always loved this course. But not when fairways aren't cut & greens are in need of attention! I've also never been on a tee with two other groups waiting to play the same hole!I was very disappointed. Won't be rushing back any time soon! Sorry Wellshurst

Came here for refreshments after attending a funeral at the nearby crematorium. Afternoon tea was provided which was delicious and not too heavy as it was mid afternoon. The staff were helpful, the rooms were a good size with plenty of seating and the views out onto the golf course were lovely. A good venue

I recently attended an event at Wellshurst..The food was superb. I couldn't fault it in anyway. The presentation and tastes were lovely. Congratulations Wellshurst you have a superb chef. Also want to thank the waiting staff who looked after us. A fabulous evening. Thank you.

We had our wedding last month at Wellshurst it was the most amazing day thank you so much to all the staff. A big thankyou to Sarah for organising everything and Nadine for looking after us all so well. Everything ran so smoothly and the food was excellent. I am still getting rave reviews about the day from guests. It was the perfect place for my perfect day.

Not bad at all, £22 for 18 holes, pace of play was OK, course could be in better nick but for your average golfer it's fine, some good interesting holes too.

My parents had their wedding at Wellshurst on the 29th of July 2023 and it was absolutely stunning. I helped organise their special day and with the help and experience of Sarah, it was a fantastic day. They couldn’t have wished for a better day.Sarah was fabulous, she is so helpful and can point you in the right direction for any other venders you may need. She recommended the decorator and DJ, who were great. Sarah at times changed her schedule to suit our needs and was so hands on throughout. She went above and beyond to make my parents day their dream day.Throughout the whole experience the staff at Wellshurst were incredible and so complimentary to such a beautiful venue.The food was delicious, even the evening buffet was delicious. The chef was so attentive to any dietary need and you can really tell he has a passion for amazing tasting food and presentation.I would recommend this place ten times over.A big thank you to Sarah and her team. we can not thank you enough, for helping us create beautiful memories.

Went for Xmas meal tonight. Food lovely but disco could have been turned down lower whilst eating. No one could hear each other when talking 00. Whacked up after meal would have been OK
