I decided to take the offer of a one hour, massage, facial and hair washed and blow dried for just 150.00. I have had my hair cut and styled here and was very happy. I had not had the massage or facial which turned out to be incredible. Farah knows what she is doing (she does both massage and facial). I am 73 and have had many massages and facials in my lifetime but this was truly one of the best. The massage room has a nice feel of low light and music which slows you down and is relaxing. I felt wonderful after the masssage which was just the right pressure point and just felt so thorough and wonderful. I loved it. The facial produced much improvement in my skin tone and texture. It glowed! Even my husband noticed when I got home. The hair washing included a head massage. I'm hooked and will continue with this ritual as long as I Iive in Barnes.We're lucky to have this calibre of salon in our little village.The salon itself is lovely with lots of sunlight and quite spacious. Besides the beauticians, they always have the front desk covered by Maria making it easy to book future appointments and answer questions. It also keeps the hairdressers from having to leave their clients to answer phones and manage things. Very professional.I hope you will try this salon. It's deserving of our local patronage!

I don’t usually do reviews but Farah the therapist is amazing she is very friendly andaccommodating but professional with it her facial’s are wonderful I go every week for one and I’ve just had my first full and body massage with her and I feel so rejuvenated I also use the hairdresser at Making Waves on a regular basis and she’s very clean and tidy when doing my hair colour and a very good stylist I often get her to blow dry my hair before a night out

I have been coming to Making Waves for 12 months now and am never disappointed by my haircuts. This time was particularly good. Neus listened to my thoughts about my hair and performed miracles with hair that was well overdue for a cut.I also like the fact that they never push treatments or packages.
