Unite Southport

Our Son Alexander has been attending Unite for nearly two years and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as have we. He quickly progressed through the Dragon program, forming strong bonds and trust with all of the coaches. Now in the Cadet program he is continuing to progress and enjoy himself and it is all down to the dedication, support and attitude of all members of staff, from Michelle in the office to all of the coaches. We feared his progress may have been halted due to the recent and current circumstances, however the online training and zoom lessons that Unite have provided have been excellent. We could not have asked for anything more from them.

Fantastic set up, really professional and friendly too. Offering so much more than Martial Arts - it is a community for kids and adults alike to learn self defence, gain confidence, to build relationships in the community and most of all to have fun.

I would just like to say as a family my son has been coming here for a year and a half. He has ADHD and I have to say Michelle the manager has been a great inspiration to my son with all her care and understanding of his needs. My son always looks forward to coming here to taekwando seeing Michelle.. and I know we aren't the only family who will feel this way.

We had an amazing birthday party, the kids absolutely loved it.Thank you Jo for all your hard work, it wouldn't have gone as well without you.

Without exception, the coaches at Unite are consistently professional, supportive and encouraging - my grandson has progressed so much in just under a year, achieving success in 4 gradings so far. He's keen to attend more frequently now and already expressing his intention to become a Unite Coach himself when he's old enough.... from a 5 year old, that's a significant endorsement!

We take our 12 year old boy to Southport unite and he trains four times weekly. He really enjoys his training sessions and everything else that unite has to offer. Staff are very obliging and will support there students to help them achieve there goals. He has made lots of new friends and always happy to attend the training sessions. Unite is like the name and one big family, Older students are always willing to help the younger students. Excellent training facilities with full matted area, great seating area for spectators and even have there own café for refreshments. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn martial arts.

Amazing is all I can describe this club as. They are dedicated, thoughtful and caring. They help the community and often do bag packing and fares to make sure costs keep down. They go to 3rd world countries and raise funds for those less fortunate. In classes, all coaches help to bring the best out of the students and everyone is listened to and respected. One of my sons has been going since he was 3 and a half. He has completed the dragons curriculum and is now half way to black belt. He is nearly 7. My little one started as soon as he was 3. He has loved classes and is now on his 3rd dragon belt and is still a couple months off 4. They have both grown in confidence since starting. They are skilled and fit. They look forward to their lessons and achieve well. This would never have happened without the dedication and caring manner of coaches. They have had times when they have felt like giving up as it gets hard but coaches have encouraged them and built them back up.They also do free member parties, the Christmas and Halloween parties are amazing. The holiday clubs are great too and the birthday parties are the best.To top it all off, there is a lovely cafe and a warm welcome from all.Would recommend this club to anyone.

My daughter has attended Dragons for 9 months and still loves it now as much as when she first joined. She looks forward to her sessions each week and has learned so many new skills. Would highly recommend.

Both my children are taking taekwondo classes here and they are both loving it. It's great for them in terms of fitness and it's confidence boosting. The teachers and other students are great, classes are well controlled and there's a good amount of fun as well. I would recommend it.
