What a miserable shop with the most miserable and rude staff ever. There is no love or happiness in these people's lives, I'm sure of that. But when they are in a public facing role like theirs, it beggars belief, and begs the question what happened to them in their life to make them like this. I didn't buy the ring in this shop as I felt it would always be tainted with the hatred that emanates from the place, and no luck, joy or happiness could it bring.

The jewellery in this shop is different from the run of the mill jewellery shops. I purchased a absolutely beautiful silver locket and silver cat brooch as the chain was too long on the locket the sales assistant shortened it inside an hour while we did more shopping would highly recommend this shop for the jewellery and the customer service

Incompetent at best. Have totally devalued my property and take no responsibility. If the owner cannot distinguish between different chain types I wouldn't want to be buying graded gem stones from her. - I asked for a gold chain be be split, explaining that it had originally been a bracelet and necklace which had been joined some years before. I pointed out that the bracelet had only 5 closed links between each longer link whilst the original necklace had 7 (Figaro style), I was quoted £30, I later received a phone call to say that a basic round clasp would be joined to the necklace whilst the original lobster clasp would be attached to the bracelet. I asked if this could be reversed with the original lobster clasp fastening the necklace. This was agreed and I was quoted £60. On receipt of altered goods I noticed that the bracelet was actually part of the original necklace leaving the resultant 18inch necklace with two different types of chain!. I returned to the shop and was told by the owner that although she had known it was originally separate items she hadn't realised that the chains were different, I questioned this as I would have thought her profession as a jeweller would have qualified her to notice this type of thing, apparently not! The outcome is that the shop have refused to put right their error without charging me for additional work. I truly wish I had gone to any other jeweler in the city or better still sent it off to an online jeweler. If high street shops want to survive,they need to give a superior service and this was certainly not the case with Margaret Forbes , far far from it. You would think they'd be ashamed to let work of this poor quality pass as a repair

I had the most amazing attentive staff look after me today. 1st class service & beautiful pieces to choose from.

I bought a pair of gold hoop earrings for my daughter birthday the lady that served us was very pleasant and helpful we had a lovely experience beautiful jewellery in the shop we will be back

Love this shop, they have very nice staff. The jewellery is absolutely fantastic, I've bought out of here on a few occasions. They usually have a good sale on which they do at the minute and if not if you have a membership plus card you get a discount off with it, happiness all round.

The owner of this store lacks any level of professionalism or customer service skills . There are plenty of other places to buy jewelry in Belfast close by that offer a far greater level of service in nicer surroundings and more helpful staff

Have bought several beautiful rings from this lovely jewellery shop. The designs are different from the run of the mill shops. Highly recommend it.

I was buying a very expensive piece of jewellery and was treated horrifically. The staff are great but the owner is the unbelievably rude and the most arrogant woman I've ever met. The only reason this place is still open is she stays in the back most of the time. I'll never be back.

Firstly, we looked in the window, and one of the staff members started moving around the jewellery we were viewing.We then went inside to actually buy something we'd chosen. Neither woman working there so much as looked at us, let alone greeted us.The two staff members were serving very picky customers who were taking a VERY long time to choose anything.Instead of either woman acknowledging us, apologising, and saying they'd be with us soon, they both continued to pretend we weren't there.It shouldn't matter, but the other customers were in t-shirts and tracksuits, and we were dressed up after going out to lunch, so it wasn't like we looked suspect.This is the first rude customer experience we have had in Ireland. It felt like London service.We walked out after waiting a VERY long time, and (obviously) didn't make a purchase.
