Early bird tickets cost £20 but had a £4 booking fee.Once inside we were not allowed to leave and return. No food or drink was allowed to be brought in either.Bands were mediocre at best and big gaps between bands sometimes over an hour listening to a dj play music which I could in my car. There was no festival atmosphere either was very subdued.Drinks were expensive. Some came in cans, some came in cups but these drink were around £6Which is expensive for canned cider.Food was nice but over priced. If drinks and food were a little cheaper I would of gave a 4 star but due to the price and large gaps in music had to be a 2 star

I come to this event every year and for the most I love it everytime. However this year there were several issues that would put me off returning. Firstly, £25 for parking is ridiculous especially when it wasn't that for the previous years. The person who issued the ticket argued that the price has always been that price but this is untrue. Secondly the showers and toilet facilities were terrible and dirty with tampons and dirt all over the place. Plus there weren't enough of the shower facilities to use. Thirdly the prices have gone up allot for drinks and food like a small can (cola sized) of hooch for £6. They did have a cheaper food van outside of the main festival area within the camping grounds which was very good so that's a great addition. However what really disappointed me was the fireworks. Every year they have fireworks as a finale which adds to the experience and fun but this year, zilch.Me and my mates waited for those but as the last band finished, there was nothing. I heard others complain about this as well so I'm not the only one that was disappointed. And several yearly entertainment acts like boxing were not there. The dinosaurs were fun though.I can only put it down to that the company have got greedy by putting up prices and pulling main attraction events such as the fireworks and also not maintaining shower and toilet facilities.I did still enjoy the main event as I can't fault the bands as always they're great and very entertaining. Abba and madness were my favorite and it's great to see people enjoy themselves there. So I enjoyed the entertainment the bands put on.However given the other issues mentioned I'm unsure if I'll return as the mentioned issues above have lowered my experience.

An amazing well organized family festival. If you want your kids to go to a music festival choose this one. Lots of people attending for the day or camping for the weekend, however the traffic management was brilliant, never queued to get into the car park or campsite. The festival ground is super safe so much so we could allow our kids to go on the fair and explore the area. 20 ciders to try. My only negative comment is the food is over priced. How someone can charge £7 for a sausage and bacon roll is beyond me. Best way is to cook your own in the campsite. Looking forward to returning next year

We are catering for this camp site this year and we cater for events all over UK, just must say that this event is well worth going especially for families, the atmosphere in the main arena is good with a good happy crowd having fun, lovely sun all day made it even better, hope to see you all next year at this event, stay safe and jolly

We have been coming to s&c for the last 6 years and unfortunately this will be our last one .1) the 3 hour wait to get in on Thursday was ridiculous, no where near enough staff and totally unorganised.2 ) no big screens on the stage and the sound was terrible.3)less bars than before and less staff means ridiculous waiting times , 40 mins on sat .4) camper van field had no toilets until sat !!!5) no where near enough showers. 2 hour wait on sat morning and they were disgusting.6) no fireworks , no air display, no wall off death , no mister trucks ,Unfortunately S&C used to be a small family festival that was packed with things to do , now it’s just cutting back on everything and giving the bare minimum. So we will look at the other local festivals for what S&C used to be .

Disappointed.Huge queues to get in, to buy drink tokens and then the bars were ridiculous.Based on previous visitors was expecting lots of great live bands. However the main stage only had 1 live band. Everything else was a ‘single’ artist basically singing to a pre-recorded sound track. Excepting the Foo-Fighters on the main stage it was pretty poor. Then the sound was terrible. So quiet they asked the rides to turn down their volume. Which they did for 49 minutes or so and then back up. So being half way back I spent more time listening to the dodgems and Extreme ride than the music. Then the food, £28 for 2 burgers and chips….Won’t bother again. Too long spent in queues and the music wasn’t up to much, just glorified karaoke.

If you’re after a cheap weekend then this is NOT the place for you. £25 for entry + £3.95 booking fee PER TICKET. Once you’re inside, you’re not allowed to leave and return again later. The prices in here are absolutely shocking. £6.50 per CAN. £7 for a 6” hot dog. Queues are very long too. And you’re not allowed to take in your own food and drink either. Very very over priced.

Very well organised throughout the weekend. Great bands. Good camping facilities - toilets kept clean and showers adequate. Good family atmosphere.

We went on the Friday for the day but it was from Thurs to Fri with camping ,caravan areas for staying near the site. Entering the area was easy with security checking bags, plenty of space for seating they do have rules of what can be taken in. Plenty of eating vans to choose from also stalls selling different things. You get tokens to buy your drinks and plenty of different ciders to choose from. There was fair rides. Also a big tent for acts. The acts on Thursday where brilliant, especially the Who, Beatles and Take That tribute acts.
