Amazing service from Ben at S M Mobile mechanics. Diagnosed my Ford Ka after getting some warning lights come on and turns out there was a problem with a sensor, he ordered the part and was back 2 days later fitting it. Really polite and lovely to chat too and explains fully what he's doing/looking for. Would 100% recommend and will be using again. Thanks Ben!

Highly recommend for trustworthy and reliable mechanic.Ben came out to my car that was being held at a pound in Crawley following a minor collision with debris on the motorway to check that it was safe to drive once the burst tyre had been replaced. (He has also put me in touch with a great mobile tyre repair company to replace my burst tyre (R J Mobile Tyres Service) who also provided a great service).Ben was super communicative during the day when I was trying to organise when we could both arrive at the pound to get the car checked. He then arrived at the site on time / early.He did a rigorous check of my car and found that it hadn't been damaged beyond the burst tyre, and provided me with a lot of reassurance that it would be fine driving it back on the motorway.He was then extremely kind and waived the call out fee as there was no damage to the car - a very generous thing to do!A massive thank you!

Contacted SM mobile Mechanics on Monday morning as my car wouldn’t start. I was a bit stuck as I obviously couldn’t get to a garage and don’t have breakdown recovery. Within 48 SM had my car up and running. They even carried out the job while I was at work. Overall, a great service. Great communication and the job was done without any fuss. Would 100% use these guys again.

I made contact with Ben from SM Mobile Mechanics on a Sunday afternoon after my car wouldn't start. I had already had it looked at by a breakdown company, who said the battery was fine but just needed a recharge. They were wrong! Ben was able to come out the very next day and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He was able to change the battery immediately (the battery couldn't hold charge and therefore needed to be replaced) and ran a full diagnostics check to ensure there were no other issues with the car. The price I paid was very reasonable and I was back on the road in no time. I was very impressed by the service I received and would 100% go back to SM Mobile Mechanics in future if I need assistance with anything car related. Ben was also able to come out to my home and fix my car which made my life so much easier and meant I didn't need to take time off work, trying to get my car to and from a garage. Thanks again.

This was a superb service.I had a glow plug broken and stuck in a BMW 1 series.I found him on the internet after 1 company give a silly price and another said it couldn’t be done in situ.SM had a small lead time but thats exactly what I would expect from someone who is in demand. He wasn’t fazed by the job in the slightest.Turned up when he said he would. I was at work, and he regularly sent me messages on the progress, then explained in detail something else that needed to be done and the cost of doing it. Then waited for me to authorise this cost first. Sent me pictures of the progress, which was very much appreciated.Fixed my car for a fraction of the cost others were charging. 100% satisfied and will keep his number for the future.My wife was at home and she worries about strangers but importantly said she was 100% comfortable with him.Do I recommend SM - absolutely
