I can only repeat what has been said here before: Avoid.This site has a nice view and garden but that's about it. The facilities are old and haven't seen any proper cleaning since ages. I can also confirm that the site is been run by a grumpy old man. I got some hot water to properly wash my dishes an he promptly called me names and apparantly disabled all the hot water for the night, even for the paid showers...I can not understand how this place can be at 4.4/5

Looking at previous reviews I see that this campsite might not be for everyone. It's a very basic campsite, with basic toilets, a paid shower and no washing facilities. But the prices are quite low compared to other campsites, the location is fantastic overlooking the lake, there is plenty of room between pitches and it's so peaceful... It's also close to the lovely village of Kilin, which has a supermarket, a few shops and restaurants. We will be back for sure!

Did the trick as a one night stop over. The owners/staff were lovely and the view is spectacular. We walked in to town but got a cab back as it was main roads and variable pavement.

Expensive for 4 of us in Motorhome.. £11 per person!!Toilets, sinks and shower needs cleaned.Me and my friend just couldn't bring ourselves to use the shower..Needs to be updated..Beautiful views.

Arrived here by chance when car broke down. Discovered a lovely site in a beautiful part of Scotland I wouldn't have otherwise visited. Will stay here again.

Nice basic campsite with space and views, friendly owners. Good price. Effort needs to be made to tackle wasps nests around the toilets, my bf got stung on his way back from the shower and he's allergic!! Showers aren't included in price you have to pay extra, payment system is dodgy but shower nice and hot

Avoid. There is a much nicer campsite 2 minutes further drive down the road. We were in the area filming for work and the camping area is a small field with few flat spaces. The owner swore and was aggressive toward one of our party for “taking too long” in the shower (which is ridiculous as hot water is on a timer you have to pay extra for - bring 10p pieces if you do stay). He was also incredibly rude to a second member of the group (there were only 3 of us). Facilities very basic and would not be enough for peak season.

What a beautiful quiet campsite. Nice big pitches with electric and basic toilets included in the lowest price we have paid in a while.Nb. if you need the owner to smile at you, like apparently some people leaving reviews here do, then please go somewhere else.
