I left a detailed message on their contact form. One week later and l still had not received a response.I contacted them via telephone and after some time was informed by the receptionist that the Partner had too much work on and could not handle my case.It would have been far more professional and courteous for the Partner to speak to me personally, apologise for the delay and explain why s/he couldn't handle my case.I am extremely disappointed with the poor level of service and rude behaviour of the Partner.

We use Jacqui Hay at Hutchinson Thomas recently for the purchase of our first house. We previously instructed her on a property that fell through during COVID and decided to use her again, and we are really glad we did. From start to finish Jacqui was professional, efficient and friendly. Emails and queries were always responded to quickly without the need to chase or prompt and she was on the end of the phone if we needed anything. The sale went through in just 11 weeks (over Christmas) and despite being on holiday for 3 weeks of those, Jacqui picked up our search responses before she was due to return and got enquiries resolved super quickly. Jacqui handled my first house purchase fantastically. She was very efficient and worked quickly during a busy time. She would always get back to me asap if I had any questions. The entire process took 11 weeks which is great considering the market at the moment. An added bonus was that my mortgage provider actually paid the solicitor fees so I only had to pay for the searches. It worked out much cheaper than hiring a different solicitor and I'm really happy with how my house purchase was handled.
