This place is great! I've learnt more about how bikes work and what to pay attention to regarding maintenance since using Common Wheel. Neil found a beautiful old Dawes frame for me and it works wonderfully. Honest, no-nonsense, and friendly service from people who really care about bikes.

Always use and always recommend. All staff I have dealt with including Neil, Stevie and Christopher have been amazingly good at their jobs. The bike repair and service schedule and standard is excellent and their ability and willingness to drive prices to a correct market level is excellent. As previous posters have mentioned this place will fix your bike very well for a fair price. It's got a family and community vibe. Neil has an incredible knowledge within his role and of his field. Always recommend!!!

Brilliant experience, from the first time I went in with very little knowledge of bikes and loads of questions, to collecting a custom-built bike that I absolutely love. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

A great bunch of folk here that not only provide great services at great prices, but are always up for a chat about anything bike related and they dish out some great advice. They would never rip you off for a job. Down-to-earth bunch of guys

A fantastic group of guys, I left my bike with them for a full service and replacement of any required parts. The bike is better than new, a great improvement on the original setup. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask them, they have an amazing volume of knowledge between them.

Neil McDonald is probably the most proficient bike mechanic in this area. And there are few.We had a problem before, and I wrote angry stuff, but that's how things go. My rubbish bike was clearly not worthy of fixing. But since then I procured a superb bike from here.Carry on.

While out on a ride along the Kelvin my rear tube burst and a quick google later I found this shop as it was close by. Tube was replaced in 10 minutes and for a cheaper price than I was expecting! The staff were super friendly and offered some helpful advice as well. Will definitely be going back in the future!

After a dodgy gumtree experience that put me in hospital and off bikes for a while, I went along to Common Wheel to chat to the guys about getting back on the bike. They walked me through the process and i ended up buying a nice old tourer. This was about 3 years ago now and since then ive been back for a few services and to update some bits as i got more specific about what i was wanting on the bike.Really couldn't recommend them enough, they are knowledgable and have been very helpful every time Ive been up.Love that they are repurposing older bits too and sound with their prices. All in all a great place that i fully endorse whenever the conversation turns to bikes.
