Wayfarers Caravan Park

Our stay from start to finish was just amazing! I have no other words to describe it. I cannot recommend staying at The Lodge enough! We drove there, roads are narrow but they are narrow everywhere in Cornwall, we had a beautiful room with a nice balcony and super clean! The owner and Jean were friendly and very nice and generous people. I honestly will be going back to stay there. If I compare it to many big shot hotels that I have stayed at, I would still choose to go back here as the experience I got in the short time I was there was just amazing!

Stopped early October to camp for 2 days, whilst cycling locally.We were only allowed to use the toilets and showers in the laundry, washing up block. (As the place was closing down for the winter) All very clean and the Les abled shower was fantastic.The less abled toilet/shower lacks a toilet roll holder and the shower tray coiled do with re siliconing around the bottom of the tray before water ingress gets into the flooring.I comment on the lack of toilet paper holder so could get blocked if people start using the incorrect paper. Which seemed like someone had used hand towels at one point.The block was also heavily air freshened which was rather noxious and made me gag. Otherwise a lovely place... although it was rainy and foggy for most of our stay.

Stayed in the b&b what a lovely place, the room was a good size, very clean, the bed was comfortable, it’s in a good location and has parking, it’s out of the town busy life which I like to. Jean was lovely very helpful and at your service when needed help. I highly recommend a stay here and the price was great to!

What a great place, Had a 3 night stay in a chalet. Which was immaculately clean and well equipped. The food in the Flying duck bistro(on site) is fantastic. Jean and Craig are fantastic hosts,very accommodating. It's adult only which was nice. I can not recommend it highly enough we will be back thanks.

Stayed in the Bluebell suite. The bed and pillows were fabulous, I had 3 fantastic peaceful nights sleep. Friendly znd helpful, clean and comfortable.

We have recently stayed at this site and it is one of the best we have stayed at. We stayed in our motor home on both a hard standing and service pitch. Pitches were a great size and the whole site was kept immaculate. Definitely the best shower/toilet, and dishwashing/laundry blocks I’ve even seen!! They were always spotlessly clean throughout our 7 day stay!The Bistro is highly recommended too, we really enjoyed our Sunday roast. Great value for money too. The bus stop is very close too which made travelling around Cornwall really easier, with a £20 weekly ticket for unlimited travel you can’t go wrong. Thank you to Jean and Craig for our lovely relaxing week at Wayfarers! We will definitely be back!!

Just had our last breakaway for three nights in our motorhome.What a wonderful campsite very clean and very smart .Jean who looks after the site was such a lovely lady and so helpful, nothing too much trouble.We will definitely go back in the summer ☀️.Many thanks to Jean and the owner.

What a gorgeous place to stay when visiting Cornwall! The host was so friendly and welcoming from arrival to departure. Going above and beyond to meet our needs and answer any queries we had. Easy to locate the site and plenty of parking. The holiday home was immaculate! Everything was so thought-through and the attention to detail was very impressive. The kitchen has everything you will need during your stay and if you don’t fancy cooking there’s a Bistro onsite. The bed was very comfortable and overall the holiday home was homely and comforting! Will definitely return!

Just recently returned from a amazing two week stay in one of Wayfarers Holiday Homes. There a six new holiday homes on site, all of which have been recently purchased. It was a lovely relaxing and immaculately clean place to stay.Everything about this place is 5 star.We visited here in 2019, when we took our caravan and we were really impressed with the place then. We were aware that new facilities were being completed - although there wasn’t anything wrong with the previous ones! - but after this recent visit we were amazed at what Jean and Craig had done.They have created first class facilities, washroom/utility room and shower block are brilliant.We enjoyed some tasty meals in the Bistro too.This place is definitely well worth a visit - peaceful and not overcrowded - a real gem.Nothing is too much trouble for Jean.Thanks for a lovely relaxing stay.John & Kate
