Dental Protection

I have been with dental protection from the time I started working as a dentist in UK in 2006, and all through these years I have got consistent and reliable support, but recently , I was dragged into something that no dentist should have to go through , and i cannot put in words how commendable all of you were at DP. The way you supported me like a friend , giving me courage and helping me go through with it , and answering my questions and reading my mind in even the ones i never asked . And indeed the great relief when it was all over to our favour. I am indebted to you all forever!Customer service is one thing , but I felt that ‘ my problem was your problem’ and that is what made you all irreplaceable forever in my eyes.I felt truly protected, so true to your name ! . Big shout out to Gavin, Sarah , George and Paulina- You all are top notch at your work .Thank you all once again , and helping me at the most vulnerable situation to being strong again!Every dentist should choose you all for ‘feeling protected ‘ especially with what the profession is faced with these days. I have never thought about another indemnity till now ( honestly scared of all the paperwork more than anything !) but now I know you are my ‘ saftey rope ‘ ! Never letting you go!

On the other side of the fence as a patient with a complaint against a dentist, this lot have been useless from the start, lousy at communication, and have a serious issue with receiving emails that has not been sorted. Every email they sent went astray and they were the only company I had this problem with. We made two complaints of negligence against the same dentist having wasted a year with MyDentist Patient Support who took that time to achieve absolutely nothing.I commenced complaints with this shower on December 14th and have now received a response to my own, my husband's is still ongoing.Knowing full well that emails do not make it through, they sent their final response BY EMAIL ONLY on June 26th and gave me three months to respond. They then waited until October 4th to write a letter by snail mail and enclose the earlier letter. Corrupt? Make up your own mind, but it is no wonder there are still shocking dentists out there as complaints go nowhere.But rest assured if you are a dentist then membership is money well spent as they will have your back no matter how bad you are!

Been with this organisation for 34 years.received a complaint in 2019--Dental Protection Refused help or advice and LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY.I had to deal with this my self--ALONEI was dragged through the claims court and GDC without ANY Help or Advice from this organisation with No morals or ethics.Don't be a FOOL--GET INSURANCE BASED INDEMNITY--NOT DISCRETIONARY OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE LEFT HIGH AND DRY WITH THIS USELESS ORGANISATION
