Mr Adam Critchley

Mr critchley did an amazing job,he knew exactly what he was doing . I trusted him to advise me what size breast implants to get .. I wanted large he recommended medium /full .. it was the right decision they look great . After the procedure there was no pain at all . I was made to feel at ease through the whole process. It has given me a whole new confidence in my body. I would recommend mr critchley to anyone that is interested in breast surgery.

After a complicated history of breast surgery and seeking revision surgery I researched and met Mr Critchley.From the initial consultation I felt at ease, he took the time to listen and take on board my concerns. Everything was discussed in great detail, the options, choices, expected outcome.I felt totally secure going in for surgery. On the day Mr Critchley explained everything again in detail and visited me post op and prior to my discharge.The level of care and expertise was phenomenal. The outcome of the surgery exceeds my expectation. I cannot convey the gratitude I feel.I would recommend anyone considering breast surgery to meet Mr Critchley. I have undergone surgery many times however his genuine care and compassion combined with supreme expertise makes him outstanding.

I was referred to Mr Critchley after my first consultant was over capacity, and he advised he thought it would be better if I went forward with another consultant. After a poor start to my journey I met with Adam who immediately made sure I was first on the list for appointments and took the time to listen and work through options. Adam explained that to achieve the results I was wanting (softer and less projected) that I should remove the scarring around my original impacts which increased the cost by a further 50%. I wasn’t sure at first but on reflection and after a couple of appointments we agreed to complete the removal of the scarring and replace with similar sized implants. Adam was patient, understanding and thorough in his explanations of the procedure. The operation was a huge success, only needing to stay in one night, and was home by mid afternoon the following day. I saw a nurse the following week to review how everything was healing (really well), and saw Adam 2 weeks post surgery for a further review. We both agreed that the new implants looked incredible and we’re happy with how everything is healing. To say I’m delighted is an understatement. I’m so thankful to have had Adam as my consultant and would recommend him to anyone considering having revision or reconstructive surgery.

My experience with Mr Critchley has been nothing but amazing from start to finish. My initial consultation was very informative, he made me feel very at ease and was incredibly professional. On the day of my surgery he came to see me and explained everything that would be happening, again he made me feel more relaxed and assured me everything was going to be okay as I was very nervous. The surgery went amazingly and the results are more than what I could have wished for. Mr Critchley came to see me as soon as I woke up from surgery and again the following day to make sure everything was okay. He went over aftercare and arranged my follow up appointments. During my appointment with the nurse a week later he came to see me and examined my wounds and asked me how I was feeling. Then my two week appointment was with Mr Critchley where he examined me, answered all my questions and explained more aftercare to look after my scars. Overall, I could not recommend Mr Critchley enough, he is incredibly thorough, professional and good at what he does. He has truly changed my life for the better. Thank you so much!

From my initial consultation with Mr. Critchley I found him extremely professional, friendly and approachable. He is very personable and he put me at ease immediately at what is a very anxious time. Mr. Critchley explained with clarity every aspect of the procedure and gave me realistic expectations of what may be achieved. I was under no pressure or obligation to go ahead with the operation and was given time until my second consultation appointment to make my decision. Having contemplated the surgery for over 15 years I now had no doubt about proceeding under the care of Mr. Critchley.I am now three weeks post-op and although I do still have some swelling and bruising, the transformation is truly amazing! I know that this is going to change my life for the better.I have received excellent care from Mr. Critchley and all of his team at the Nuffield Hospital, Newcastle and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is considering this type of procedure in the future.Many thanks !!

An amazing surgeon, he made me feel at ease at the consultations and with my surgery.Professional and friendly.I feel so much more confident now. I would definitely recommend him.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mam, she had her first breast surgery on 15th June 2021 to remove breast.She had 2nd operation 27th July 2021Mr critchley has done an amazing job with my mam. He is very professional understood her needs and was very clear in what was going to happen.
