The Hat Box Oxford

Have used The Hat Box for 3 weddings in the past and been delighted with the comments I've had on all 3 occasions. Will be calling in again soon for my 4th hat to a special wedding in August. Looking forward to the experience, they're always so helpful.PSbeen today and got the perfect hat......I knew I could rely on The Hat Box. Thank you.

Always fabulous service and a large range of hats. I've bought inexpensive straw hats from here but they also have super glamorous ones if you're mother of the bride or going to Ascot. So friendly and full of good advice - particularly if you're not used to wearing hats. This shop is a complete gem and I love it.

Thank you for all the care and attention and help finding the right hat for my husband. Our visit was delightful and the hat is perfect.

I shopped from the USA, for a facinator for my son's wedding, while my daughter was at College in Oxford.We did it with pictures on line. Now that same daughter is getting married in Cambridge, UK in Nov. and has sent me many pictures...BUT I am going to UK early to shop for a hat at The Hat Box in the Covered Market. It is the greatest fun. The choices are endless and the owner is welcoming, plus very talented with colors, styles and materials!! The hat will make my day the best!

NO REFUNDS! CHEAPLY MADE AND OVERPRICED SOUVENIR SHOP. I asked for a refund for hats that had not shipped and are still with the supplier. Unlike any other store, the Owner, Gillian Senior, claimed it was her policy to never refund or return, even in my case where the product was never received or worn. Anyone purchasing from this store should be forewarned. I have filed complaints with the Covered Market regarding their tenants actions and received no response. I would give zero stars if the option were available. My complaint is filed. I advise all to go to AMAZON if you want full service. This place is a souvenir/cheap costume shop, not a haberdasher. You'll do better at Amazon.

Truly the shop is cozy and welcoming. Different lovely hat's for any occasion. Unfortunately, those 3 stars are not going for the products which they deserve all those 5 stars but for the unfriendly and a bit mean attitude of the lady in the shop today.

I bought a lovely fascinator at The Hat Box and was amazed by the vast selection of hats, and the wide array of colours. The owner was more than happy to help me find the perfect match for my dress.

Absolutely terrible experience treated like we were not good enough to be in the store. Very dismissive of us and very unhelpful would not recommend to anyone.

The place is tiny but impressive! We had gone to other shops and none had what we wanted. Here we had very helpful service and found just what we wanted! Gillian went out of her way to take time to find us just what we wanted! (And for a 1/3 the price we would’ve paid at the department store!)Highly recommend!!!
