Church's Factory Shop

A word about the repair service. It is no longer possible to send your Church's shoes back to the factory for repair. You first have to complete a questionnaire they will email you about your shoes. This includes things such as where did you buy them and when. They also ask for a photograph of the shoes. Once this is done they ask that you take take or post the shoes to a Church's store. These are all I think in London. I took my shoes to the Bond Street store. You must now pay in advance for the service, which is £290. After this the shoes are sent to Northamptonshire for the repair. But my shoes were returned to the store because they were unrepairable". Why? Because there was a very small stitch that was needed above the heel. Very minor and hardly visible. And I only wanted new soles and heels: nothing else. Anyway

It was empty on a Friday morning - I was the only customer. Both store assistants were very attentive and helpful. But I found the shoes are quite expensive - most shoes are in the region of £350 - only a few pairs were £190. They also have bags and other accessories. Good choose of shoes.

I visited the Church’s Factory Shop and found the lady in charge to be exceptional in her customer care , communication skills and professional knowledge of the product. You expect excellent service with a product like Church’s but my experience far exceeded my expectations mainly in part to the shop floor service. 4 pairs of shoes later I left a very happy person.BZ Church’s Factory Shop

Poor quality shoes for the price - 7 months of intermittent use in an office environment resulted in a very large hole in one of the shoes. Told that this is simply the expected wear and tear of the shoes and not a product fault - not the best advertisement for luxury goods. Especially when every pair of shoes I’ve ever owned, some at nearly a tenth of the price, lasted for years longer without any similar issue. The Customer service on the back of this hasn’t been great either. Being offered a 30% reduction in a repair cost that’s frankly extortionate on its own isn’t exactly the resolution I was after. Very disappointing and a dissatisfied customer all round.

Very attentive, helpful staff.

Really poor service.The two different members of staff here seem to not really enjoy being there. Their service is poor. It is best described as doing their best to put people off buying the (excellent) shoes.No initiative and little assistance. For example, I had to phone up other Church's stores to enquire as to whether they had a particular shoe. All the while, staff stand there doing nothing (including not answering the phone on several occasions when I was in the shop).The shoes have to sell themselves.No refunds on unworn shoes - just a credit note, that they manage to issue incorrectly.Avoid. Go to Bicester.

Not too far from the station. As you leave the station you turn right. You see the logo already from afar to the left. The entrance to the shop is in a side street, a bit hidden away. -English shoes of superior quality. Apart from Bicester Village the only place to get these discounts. Worth a visit

Great prices and the shop is convenient for people travelling by train. The car park however was locked when we got there and parking was not easy (it's a rental permit only zone). The shop is small and can get very crowded but they have a good selection. I found what I was looking for and the imperfect products are really not imperfect unless you are the quality inspector at church's.

Awesome shoes. James Bond apparently wears them, and Tony Blair. Not sure if that's a good endorsement, tho !!!I don't think I'll ever find a more comfortable smart pair of shoes . Whatsmore is I really don't want to. Exceptional quality.

Bought from the shop during my last visit to the factory but the shop is shut at the moment as its having a refresh. It will be open again in a week or two so likely around the beginning Dec 22. I'm sure someone from Church's can confirm that though? On another note the lady in the shop is a diamond, her customer service is exemplary and second to none, thankyou for a most pleasant experience.
